VPD Driving Pest and Fungal Pressure?

Hey everyone,

Ok, so lately I've been wondering if VPD drives pest/fungal pressure and or has any effect on the drying/curing process.

Intuitively, I would assume it has a larger effect on drying and curing than pests and fungus but assumptions are the mother of all F*** ups.

I have been looking for well-cited research on the topic but to no avail. Therefore, I must take it to the most academic source of all - the rollitup forums! :P

Can't wait to hear you guys' ideas.

PS. World record for long jump is 29 ft - absolutely bananas. My mind can't fathom that.

I don't use or have no use of VDP during drying or the cure, in fact during the dry I'm not looking for damp at all

as for breeding fungal spores, a medium to hi humidity and low teeny temps are the ideal,
in my case the correct application of neem or your favorite fungicide, a week before harvest and correctly applied
will remove any doubt
VDP is difficult in a shiny indoor tent, impossible out doors and almost manageable in the green house often in use constant like, by the Dutch

I’ve found that avoiding dew point in a tent prevents nearly anything in the way of molds and fungus. Especially when combined with adequate air movement over and under the canopy. Dew point is available daily on your local weather forecast.

Inkbird thermostat and a small quartz under desk heater from Amazon. Set 3-5 degrees above dew point.
