Sure thing Man, listen to groundation, best roots band uve got in the US.
Yeah , we're in the process of setting up a studio in my basement, and we'll be recording in july i figure. next week we're playing a gig, we'll do a ''rootsified'' cover of dark side of the moon (even got this beautiful costa rican girl to sing great gig in the sky) and a few original tunes we're gonna have a blast man!

this is a good poll, its always interesting to see the varied music that stoners listen to... nothing against jam bands, but some of us do have a more eclectic taste in music.

Also... punk shouldn't be bunched with teenage rock... whatever that is. If you mean emo... then its explosively dangerous combination, lol!

You should make the punk catagory "punk/ska"... slightly less explosive. Emo/teenage rock doesn't really count as music, imho. Haha.

Just wondering, anybody here play any instruments or in any bands?

I've been playing drums for a long time... mostly played in ska bands and jam band coverbands, most of my band mates went to music schools... not me... i'm a square (and have no desire to fail in the music business and teach highschool band) but i've been playing funk, jazz, ska, rock, metal, blues, soul since I started... thats how i taught myself, playing along to good tunes... only took 12 years, but it paid off... anyone need a drummer? haha.

we should put together an ROI housemix... call it "So, you're a stoner". I'd buy that shit!

I play the guitar....not that good but decently...got kicked out of my old band cause they were some anti-stoners...and well I can't be having that...nor did they want me the stoner haha.
