Volcano vs. Extreme Q

The Extreme Q end has the option of steam balloon or a whip to direct inhalation. Since the two vaporizers vapor gives a good thickness, but not the volcano that gives the option of using a whip hurts a bit, especially since you are paying too much. When comparing what gives you a better experience with a vapor bubble that went with the volcano, but not by much and definitely not enough to deny the fact that you can not use a whip. At the extreme end of the Q offers more than just the volcano, from a remote control to use a vapor whip is more available.

as a bit of a purist i actually appreciate the glass-on-glass action and the ceramic heater core. probably would have chosen it even if was the same price point.

fellow qray stoners: i used a bit of adhesive velcro to keep my remote with the unit, haven't misplaced it since.

It is only necessary to clean the upper screen, so that pollution greatly retards out of steam. Recommend to clean with powder for dishwashers. This powder is suitable for cleaning all that dirty with hemp smoke.

I read somewhere recently a person claiming to have had their volcano running constantly for over 2 years. They said they figured it would do less damage to the parts to not be turned off and on and to cool and reheat all the time?

I guess I can believe it, I mean it makes sense in a lot of cases that leaving something on will extend its life more than shutting it off when you don't need it. Thing feels solid enough to handle it, I wonder if it could run 24/7 for the entire length of its warranty? haha

I've only had mine for 10 or 11 months, you can't go wrong with it its definitely a proven top notch thing. But I can't say for sure it its actually the best long term investment for those that don't think they can fork over $500 for one. Other units might only cost 100 or 200 and last several years, making it less expensive for you.
