Vivosun 630w cmh problems. Plz help

So, got my first grow up and going.. Yay!
But. Here's my Problem. Got a vivosun 630w cmh... It takes 2 315w bulbs, using the Phillips agro 3100k...ok so.. First 18hr cycle with the light goes great, 2nd 18hr cycle kicks on, im in the room fuckin around and notice a change in light all of a sudden.. Lights been on maybe 45 mins.. So, I look in the tent and the bulb closest to the ballast is not on.. But the other one still is.. So I'm like huh, I unplug it and leave it for 20 mins.. Plug it back in and nothing.. Neither of rhe 2 bulbs turns on.. So at that point I'm pissed. This was last night mind you, anyway.. Contact support and waiting on them.. I get picture of serial number they want, and decide since I'm at the light I'm gonna try it once more.. I plug it in and both the bulbs fire up and looked like the core burnt black on both bulbs...took much much longer for the bulbs to heat up than it did the first time I turned the light on, and the bulbs look fine now... Im thinking the ballast is fucked up? But just want some insight being my very first high powered light and having this happen.

Well nevermind, support decided to just refund the money so I can order another light and have it here in a cpl days.. And I get to keep the messed up one.. So I'm gonna do some testing to see if it really is messed up cuz if it's not then I got a 2nd light for free

Don’t pull the plug like that. Switch it off correctly. Simply user error.

Sorry should have been more specific, it is plugged into a power strip and I did flip the switch on the power strip first turning it off, then unplugged it... Same thing when I turned it on, into power strip.. Then flipped power strip on
