Your a year late broAny final report?
Shes at day 68 right now. I cant figure out whats wrong with her. Someone mentioned a calcium problem so i got calmag 2 weeks ago and it doesnt look like thats working. I use fox farm trio (big bloom, big grow, tiger bloom) only use the calmag and tiger bloom in this stage of the grow though. All nutes used at 100% for the entire grow. Its my first time using nutes and i only started having problems about 2.5 weeks ago. I really dont know whats wrong with herfinally some reports lol she has got some burns to her but is looking nice. what nutes you using?
mine are looking nice their 1week and 3days and shes looking tall in the pot. how old are your girls?
its calcium ........not much you can do now to be honest ... leaves dont repair themselves they just stop getting worse ..... next time you have the issue top dress some lime ( if your growing in soil ) lime takes time to get the ph right again 1-2 weeks is why im saying it would be futile to use it now the plant will be done by then .... you could adjust the PH of your water or pick up a couple bottles of RO ( ro has a ph of 5-6 ) and just water with that for the rest of the grow and that might straighten your PH out ..........Shes at day 68 right now. will the calmag i bought not work?its calcium ........not much you can do now to be honest ... leaves dont repair themselves they just stop getting worse ..... next time you have the issue top dress some lime ( if your growing in soil ) lime takes time to get the ph right again 1-2 weeks is why im saying it would be futile to use it now the plant will be done by then .... you could adjust the PH of your water or pick up a couple bottles of RO ( ro has a ph of 5-6 ) and just water with that for the rest of the grow and that might straighten your PH out ..........
i always add extra lime even to bagged soil and then top dress a bit a month or so into the grow , if your PH gets to low it will lock out calcium and other nutrients but calcium makes the rust spots
it wont if your PH is off ....... if its to low or high then the plant cant absorb itwill the calmag i bought not work?
my pH has been low lately like 4.8... i was thinking of baking soda to raise it, its all i have in the house until i can get to the hydrostore for some pH up.it wont if your PH is off ....... if its to low or high then the plant cant absorb it
I'll use the distilled water from now on..I use fox farm's trio of nutes.. surely that cant be the problem though right? i mean tons of people use it .I've had the same problems running synthetic nutrients with my tap water. It can be a number of things, other nutrient can be to high causing lockout. Or it can be too much or too little calcium. As tek says you won't make them better... it sucks. I did the same thing went out and bought calmag thinking I could fix it. Now I have calmag sitting in my cab for no reason lol.
My advice is to use RO/Distilled water it cuts out the question of whats in your water already.
i would use RO since its PH neutral naturallyI'll use the distilled water from now on..I use fox farm's trio of nutes.. surely that cant be the problem though right? i mean tons of people use it .
I use fox farm ocean forest, im not sure what the pH is of that. I will start mixing my nutes with distilled water then use pH up or down accordingly. I dont know if i have access to reverse osmosis water. Do they sell that anywhere?you have to have your soil right before any nutes are used , are you adjusting your PH of your feed's after mixing the nutes in ?
in a perfect world you would mix your nutes then use PH up or down to get them in range
ya they sell gallons of it at grocery stores just read the nutrition facts or usually its at the bottom of the labelI use fox farm ocean forest, im not sure what the pH is of that.
