any outdoor herbs. I am too impatient to wait till march/april to put my plants outside so Im going to start flowering in a week or two, even though my plants are only like a 2 ft tall. I would say any outdoor strain would be good, especially the " early " ones and mold/cold resistant ones.

Hey virginians! I got about 60 seedlings just sprouting. Gonna weed it down to the top twenty and not sure exactly when to take them to their new homes but i want to get them out as soon as possible. I Was figuring early to mid April but if we have a warm streak at the end of march i might try then.

yeah i think we will probably have an early virginia warmth. I am moving in July. Haha i was thinking about growing and flowering early by using a black trash bag over the plants or something. Any other suggestions as to how to manipulate the plants cycle?

i am in va and i have a few kali mist plants... the flowering says like 80 - 90 days do u think it will be okay or is it going to get cold to early in the yr for them to finsish?

Would I have to seed the sproutling indoors before moving them outside? Would it not be possible to just grow it outside from the start? What implications could this have? I just want something easy where i can leave it for a few weeks aside from watering and forget about it that will still keep a decent flavor.

depending on where you are in VA... anywhere from next week to mid april for the last frost... in the south or on the east coast, whenever's clever... NOVA or the mountains, you better wait... VA's a big place... can't really narrow it down that easily

Tons of different factors can affect when your plant will flower. Its mid August and the hours of daylight are getting shorter and shorter, so it should start to flower very soon.

Do the tops have any signs of flowering (pistils growing). Pictures could/would help.

Good Luck :bigjoint:
