Nah thats just when it seems like it would’ve started because of the full week of wet cold weather. Shortly after is when the little weird random white smudge stain looking places started showing up. I did have one that started flowering the last day or so of june though. I thought that was great at the time because she’d finish early. Would’ve been nice but the mold got her.

Im in the southwest corner of the state and was just wondering if other parts of the state have the “dispensaries” doin the “adult sharing” ? We have several around here but a couple months ago there was a big law enforcement operation where they raided all the places with search warrants. I don’t think many arrests were made at the time but supposedly they seized computers and records etc. it slowed the stores down a bit but they’re still exploiting the loop hole. One place was moving sooooo much weed. The store parking lot was always maxxed out. I’ve heard different stories about the quality they sell but don’t know firsthand. Just curious about other Virginians experiences with these stores.
We have a "dispensary " it's all high THCa from hemp flowers. Shit sucks. They sell that shit in all the tobacco smoke shops with the kratom and all that other synthetic bullshit.
It’s real marIjuana they’re selling in the shops here. The law allowing you to gift up to 1oz is the one they’re loopholing. You buy something else for example one place does vegetable seeds, so you buy a pack of tomato seeds for $ 50 or whatever, complete the transaction, go to another counter and then they “gift” you that amount that you paid for the tomato seeds in weed. Which is legal. But the other aspects of it are not, like having that much product in one place, acquiring that much product etc etc etc.
its pretty entertaining watching it all go down lol.

These are almost finished 6 wks flower, lower leaves yellowing on three of them (same strain). One (different strain) is still green. All fed the same, do you think the yellowing strain just wants more food?

lower fans are going to yellow and die off. Looks good for 6 weeks.

What they are doing is 100% illegal and there is no gifting loophole in VA. It is spelled out in black and white that you can't gift in a reciprocal transaction. They did that as they saw the mess DC has with sticker shops trying the same tactic. Whether you choose to go or not is up to you but don't think it's legal and or safe. Cops have been sporadically and hit or miss busting these shops in Richmond, VA Beach, Norfolk and other areas. Here's a copy of the rule from the VA cannabis control authority. Theres a dude down here in my part of the state that has made a mint doing this. Hes got several shops. Was the main one for the big search warrant opp they did a while back. They probably got enough to charge him with stuff but haven’t heard anything yet. I haven’t purchased anything but have been inside one or two of them, couple of “grow shops” do it, its pretty funny the one “grow shop” had like two bottles of nutes and a bag of soil. lol The line was steady and unending, must’ve been moving 10-20 lbs a day easily.

They're probably buying light dep or outdoor weed from Oklahoma or Cali for 300-500 bucks a pound and selling it for a crazy markup. It seems to depend on the jurisdiction as far as enforcement goes, some prosecutors choose to go after them and some areas just let it slide. When they busted the grow shop in Richmond they took everyone into custody that was there and then questioned them before releasing the customers.
I'm hopeful that we'll see recreational sales get approved this coming year so people that need to buy it can have better access. I grow more than I need and won't be buying anything from them but I know not everyone has the time and space to do that.
Yeah I figure any charges they bring on them will be related to obtaining the large quantities and moving through different states, and the money side of it, taxes and laundering etc. But you’re probably right about where it’s coming from OK or maybe cali or Arizona. At first when they started doing this I thought maybe it’d be a good place to dump some of my extras but i never did and now I’m glad. I don’t like that kind of heat.
