Yeah man......I've got a dehumidifier in my tent but 95% of the time in the summer I get bud rot. Fine through the winter but the summer is pretty crappy. Typically lose 50% of the main cola or 1-3 colas of a topped female.Isis taken down today at 80 days View attachment 5171571View attachment 5171569View attachment 5171570
and some lovely bud rot gotta love the humid dirty south View attachment 5171568
The only real downside to waiting is the weather starts to get much worse at the end of September here. The humidity gets crazy high and we get a lot of rain and you can have problems with mold and bud rot.How do I know when to harvest? Any down side to waiting or anytime before the first frost is okay?

Did you make your own feminized Bodhi seeds?Near Richmond here. I'm strictly inside a 4x2 tent, typically 4-6 plants, I can't fit more than that. Currently growing Twenty20Mendocino's Trainwreck (fem), Something Good (fem), and Sparkleface (fem). Next up will be Bodhi's Raspberry Hashplant, Twenty20Mendocino's Girl Crush (fem), and Bodhi's Strawberry Goji (fem).
How's it doing now?In the last 7-10 days I have a plant that is turning a much lighter shade of green, lots of the leaves have turned/are turning yellow.
All of the plants are clone sisters and were planted in Bacto potting soil & watered the same. I have added nothing to the potting soil.
The only difference being the yellowing plant has had less pruning.
What’s up with this?

Yeah nothing like being legal. Just takes that feeling that you always had in the back of your head, away.On advice from a friend, I harvested the yellow plant and one other. Two others aren’t quite “ripe”

Congratulations on a great first haul. Drying and curing come with experience and are more of an art than a science in my opinion. Slow drying in a cool and well ventilated area in 55%-60% humidity gives a good starting point. It should take 10-14 days for the dry at the quickest. So here’s my first ever harvest.
I tasted a bit; it has a hint of licorice and a bit of harshness. Maybe time will remove some of the harshness.
