Even my fabric pots are "designed in Canada, assembled in China", China took over manufacturing, like it or not.My plant pots and drip trays are made in England, which shocked me. My lights are UK assembled, but all the components are direct from the Chinese factory.
The 2022 viparspectra claim the 301h horticulture samsung diodes with osram 660s. Spec wise looks nice imo.I want to upgrade my lights. What u think marshydro or viparspectra?
Maybe go around your house and toss out every single thing that was made in China, then let's see if you still feel the same way..
The days of "made in usa" or even "made in canada" are becoming extinct.
I cant find a single thing in my grow room that wasnt affiliated with china, even down to the smart plugs..
Do I hate China made products, No, am I going to spend extra money to make my ego feel better, not a chance.
I'll take all your made in China, it will fit right in with the rest of the stuff.
Neither. I'd wait until Friday when HLG's 25% off sitewide sale starts. It ends Monday. HLG assembles a lot of boards here in the US. The diodes are not from China either like a lot of people seem to think.

You just broke his heartThe diodes aren't from the US, sorry but there is no way that Samsung, a korean company, are going to start a whole production inside the US for one OEM. Those diodes come from Asia somewhere.

The ks bar lights? I saw a few vedio in You tube, looks amazing. The 2022 viparspectra claim the 301h horticulture samsung diodes with osram 660s. Spec wise looks nice imo.
Most still from china, like Viparspectra led is use Samgsung diodes. The diodes aren't from the US, sorry but there is no way that Samsung, a korean company, are going to start a whole production inside the US for one OEM. Those diodes come from Asia somewhere.

Tianjin, China. That's where Samsung LEDs are made according to google. Even Koreans like cheap labor apparently. For the record I still think HLG lights are a great product and their customer support is far superior to that of the huge Chinese manufacturers.
Looking it seems the company formerly know as Cree may have manufacturing in the USA They started was back in 87. Name has been changed and like most other one time USA manufacturing companies most production has been moved overseas to help enable competitive market share.I concur.
