who ever says they got a buzz from doing anything but eating hydrocodone is lying, hydrocodone is a pro drug meaning 40% or so gets broken down by the liver into hydromorphone and thats what is psychoactive, smoking does not get metabolized by the liver, snorting doesnt work although some drips into your stomach but most is wasted.

Eat the vikes. Better yet, vikes are loaded with acetaminophen so do a cold water extraction. The CWE is pretty simple, even a stoned goon like me can do it, and you can avoid taking all that APAP and fucking your liver up.
And don't snort them, I just weighed a 5/500 vike, it weighs 700mg. Here's what is in there: 5mg hydrocodone, 500mg acetaminophen, and 195mg of binders and fillers. Do you really want to put 695mg of crap, mostly tylenol, up your nose just for the 5mg of good stuff? DUMBBBB. eat the vikes or give them to me and I'll eat them

I definately would not smoke or snort hydros/vicoden (they are the same thing, different brand) because of the apap(as mentioned already). Do a CWE as a previous poster has said (don't remember who, but good advise)
To the people who said youll have a "bad time" if you smoke pills, you probably smoked the wrong pill. If someone REALLY wanted to smoke a pill, the only one I'd advise is an OC80. When you smoke OC it hits you faster and harder, but the effect wears off a lot more quickly. This is how most people get addicted (smoke a bit, feel great, wears off, NEED to smoke more to feel great).

Snorting vics or percs is just as stupid as smoking them. 5-10mg of narcotic diluted with 350mg of tylenol?!?! It shouldn't take a genius. From now on, whenever anyone posts about smoking pills, I'm telling them to do it. IMO, pill smoking questions should = automatic ban. It's only a matter of time until the "can i shoot up robo???" questions start.

Yep, OxyContin doesn't have the APAP, it's just oxycodone with some binders, fillers, and stuff that's meant to make it time release.
Now don't get that confused. Percocet is not worth snorting, it's a rapid release oxycodone with APAP (tylenol). Vicodin is hydrocodone with APAP. So unless you like snorting tylenol, don't rail Percs or Vikes.
If you have a form of Vicodin or Percocet, CWE is your best bet. You end up with some water, down the hatch, and youre feeling good. You can wait and evaporate the water, then you could snort the powder, but oxycodone and hydrocodone are absorbed just as well in the stomach and this is not worth bothering with IMO.
If you don't know how to do a CWE just look up cold water extraction online and im sure someone will have posted a guide.
