Vibrating plants

I have a hydro set up, i have a fan sitting directly on the platform where the plants sit. It causes the plants to vibrate slightly... is that ok?

sure it is.. it may even help the stems get nice and strong moving around a lil like that.. i just read a thread awhile ago where the dude shakes his plants when he watered them.. nothing crazy, but some, and he noticed that the ones he was shaking had much thicker stems... something good come flowering time...

yea thats wut i do wen i water i shake em bak and forth and side to side

Mate, the reason playing music to your plant helps them to be bigger and stronger is due to the vibrations caused from the music shaking up the sound waves. So if anything, these vibrations should benefit the plant. But by the love of god, dont go and buy a 1000W bass just to make them huge, that might be slightly ott.

I have a "Crib Vibrator" I found at a thrift store about 15 years ago. It is strong! I mounted it to our bed and it felt like an earthquake. Ya know the Hotel vibrators? This smokes 'em. I also wonder what the effects would be of mounting this monster on a pallet and see what happens...? I assume it would strengthen the heck out of them. That'll be my next tweak project!

should be fine but expect female plants to get wet and shout your name from time to time

Vibration in late flowering can knock/vibrate trichomes off the buds. wacth your fan speed to, you dont want to Blow all the good stuff off the plant.
