very shitty experimental first grow

okay, so i got seeds, germinated them, and planted them on 2/5/10. i'm pretty sure they're growth is stunted. i've been reading and studying and getting supplies for my next official first grow, but there's nothing like hearing from experienced growers. i water about 3 times per week, and they're always under light. when it's clear and sunny out, i use the sun, and when it starts to get dark, i just put them back under lights. for now, i'm using a sylvania 65w grow light and a fluorescent grow light. i keep it about 70 degrees, and i have a fan blowing on them. the oldest/biggest one died at one point (or so i thought), but i thought it'd be really stupid to just toss it. but i'm glad i kept it around. i'm not actually expecting to harvest (obviously, i mean look at the setup lol), i just want to have some kind of experience with the growing part so when i actually do it, i'll know what to expect, or how to handle any problems that might occur. in a bit, i'm switching to 400w HPS light, and i'm gonna try adding some nutes to make it grow faster/ healthier.

transplant them soon, those peat pots are bad because the roots grow through the bottom and then die.

yeah i know, when i bought them i was thinking 1) they're cheap lol. and 2) i could easily transplant them to a permanent home without having to uproot them. which i thought would be pretty damn sweet. at the moment, i'm researching hydroponic growing methods, and it's fucking intriguing.

hey, so i uprooted my 3 babes, and i'm transplanting them into 3 3-gallon buckets tonight hopefully. i've got my good lights coming in a few days, and i'm working on nutes (but i really think the problem was just not having enough room to grow).
