What is this? Half Shouting? And Fairly Senseless Half Shouting, Also? Why Are You Calling Betty a Harlot? Why Are You On This Board, If You Don't Take Da Kine?2 Months When He Had The Same Symptoms & Went Into A Coma For 30 Minutes, Bruce Didn't Have A Blood Clot In His Brain According To His Doctors. Blood Clot Doesn't Cause A Swelling Of The Brain Or Cerebral Edema. The Doctors Gave Him Something To Reduce His Brain Swelling. Two Months Later When He Was With That Harlot Betty Ting Pei's Apartment, She Took A Long Time To Call The Ambulance Because Bruce Had A Lot Of Hashish In Her Apartment. Stop Making Conjectures And Guesses And Do Precise, Specific Research! He Didn't Have A Brain Aneurism, He Had No Gun Shot Wounds. The Nepali Hashish From 1973 And From 1973 And From Nepal Are The Important Things You Should Remember. They Probably Don't Make Shit Like That Anymore! But Out Of Principle, I Don't Smoke Cannabis Or Even Eat It.
Toxic shock from flesh eating bacteria or something like that is more probable. But, I study in the Bruce Lee line of Wing Chun, and I say, nothing is known about his death except he died like he lived, Large.TETRAHYDROCANNABINOL TOXICITY DATA: 666 MG/KG ORAL-RAT LD50; 482 MG/KG ORAL-MOUSE LD50; 525 MG/KG ORAL-DOG LD5O; 29 MG/KG INTRAVENOUS-RAT LD50; 42 MG/KG
Just to finish this stupid thread up. 666 mg per kg. Let's do the math together. Bruce Lee weighed 128 lbs at his death - or 58 kg. 58 X 666 = 38628 mg or 38.6 GRAMS of pure THC. Now, some of the best hash in the world may be 70 percent "pure". I don't believe that but fine. What is hash? it is a mass of trichomes - trichome bases or hairs, waxes and the like. Nepalese hash is gathered by rubbing the hands on buds. The resin that remains on the hands is scraped off to form balls or "fingers". While it is very VERY fresh it retains a great deal of potency but many of the spheres or resin bearing bodies are burst, resulting in resins that are more susceptable to oxidation which is one reason why the balls got crusty on the outside while staying goey on the inside. So, strong as it was reputed to be, I believe some of the dry sifted forms were stronger given the time between manufacture, storage, transport and sale. Because hand rubbed hash is subject to contamination of trapped water - if the buds were wet, in persperation from hands and due to environmental conditions, the substance was highly susceptable to mold. Dealers back then tended to, intentionaly or otherwise, claim those white streaks were "opium". Fresh or cooked opium is not white, it is a greenish brown.
Given that the hash was 50 pecent THC, Lee would have had to have eaten 76 grams of it, or 2.7 ounces. The only flaw in my numbers is not numerical it is physiological. Men are not (with exceptions) rats. We don't know the LD50 of THC in humans for obvious reasons but I suspect it is even higher. In my day I handled a LOT of nepalese or reputed to be nepalese temple hash - it ranged from shit to super strong but I never ever had any that could have rivaled good bubble hash. The very fact that it was a solid or semi-solid indicated that it was far from "pure" THC as THC is most commonly an oil. I don't know the LD50 of the other consitutants of hashish.
With regard to insecticides or herbicides, I don't know for certain but I don't think that Nepal was on any DEA spray lists for any number of reasons - There were likely diplomatic issues with Nepal, China and the U.S. that did not exist in Mexico. I believe nepal is or was rather remote and at high altitude as well so it is unlikely that the fields were systematicaly sprayed, even so, depending upon the herbicide, I doubt that residual contamination would be enough to kill a human in a single dose. Those that have been inadvertantly sprayed with such chemicals got HUGE doses and relatively few of them succumbed quickly if at all.
The oral LD50 of paraquat, in its various forms, for rats ranges from about 20 mg/kg (10) to 150 mg/kg (6). The oral LD50 of the dichloride form of paraquat is 196 mg/kg in mice, 50 mg/kg in monkeys, and 48 mg/kg in cats (6). The oral LD50 of paraquat in the cow is 50-75 mg/kg (6).
50 mg per kg in monkeys means that Lee would have had to have ingested 3248 mg or 3.2 grams of paraquat. Possible I suppose. Not very likely though.
It is now suspected that Bruce Lee died from a condition known as SUDEP, it's sudden death caused by epilepsy, this condition wasn't recognized until years after his death. Cannabis played no role in his death, it was ruled out at his autopsy.People like potheads laugh when they hear that a lethal strain of Nepali Hashish killed Bruce Lee. Nepali hashish from Katmandu is very potent and strong. It's concentrated into a brick--it's strong.
Here are two types of potheads: 1) the fat or middle-sized veteran who has been eating or smoking weed or hash for a long time.
2) the newbie or newjack potsmoker who probably goes to high school or college.
both of the above 2 types have a good amount of body fat to buffer the effects of Nepali hashish.
Bruce Lee had almost no body fat.
Also nepali hashish (the real potent type which I think is called SuperNepali) is very, very expensive. The above 2 types of potheads may take a vacation or trip to Amsterdam and be able to score this very expensive Nepali hashish. But, Bruce Lee was eating A LOT OF this prohibitively expensive Nepali hashish over a period of 5 or 6 months, from the filming of Game of Death to the making of Enter the Dragon. None of the above 2 types of potheads could afford to eat so much potent Nepali hashish every day for that long a time period. If they did, their bodies would do what Bruce's body did: vomit, to get rid of the poisons.
You would have to be a retired, very wealthy athlete to take as much Nepali hashish to kill a person. In good physical health with no body fat to buffer the potentially lethal effects of the hashish. Please note that hashish unlike weed is not leafy, it's an ugly, mud brick.
Also, Bruce had side effects from Nepali hashish--severe headaches. Even the movie Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story and all his close friends would say Bruce had severe headaches. Go and speak with the chinese elders who would be the same age as Bruce Lee would have been today--in their 60's and 70's and tell them about "Dai-ma" pronounced "Die-Mah". It's the cantonese word for Hashish and they will also agree that is what killed him.
It's worth noting that to understand what killed Bruce is to know what type of symptoms he had which led to his death: 1) vomiting 2) seizures 3) severe headaches, fainting and coma. All these symptoms run hand in hand with herbal poisoning. In fact, if you do a google search "vomiting + seizures + fainting/and or coma" you will get a long list of results showing "poisonous herbs."
In fact there's one herbal plant that if you eat a normal amount of, nothing will happen, but if you o-d on it or eat too much you will get headaches, vomiting and seizures!
Can you believe that? So please be careful on your trip to Holland or anywhere else where you can get a strong strain of hashish.
So, there you have it...the average pot smoker laughs at the educated research that hashish is what killed Bruce Lee because the average pot smoker doesn't have the following:
1) a lot of money to afford a large amount of what in small quantities is very expensive, namely a lethal strain of hashish and a lot of money to eat a lot of it every day for 6 months.
2) zero or very low body fat. This body fat would help buffer the potent effects of Nepali hashish.
Remember Linda Lee made a quick statement after Bruce died that she held no suspicion of nothing other than natural causes. Why did she do that so soon before an autopsy? Because she needed to say so for life insurance purposes and to prevent a epidemic in Hong Kong of Hashish use and to preserve Bruce's name in the eyes of children. The children of 1973 have grown up now. Do the research on the web site "Bruce Lee: The Divine Wind", read "Dynamic Becoming" by James Bishop copyr. 1997. All the respected martial arts authorities including Asian film expert Bey Logan know that it was hashish that killed him.
The 35th anniversary of Bruce Lee's death will occur on July 20, 2008. Out of respect to Bruce Lee, I have quit cannabis. I'm not a republican, conservative anti-drug freak. I'm still a liberal tolerant Democrat. But this info. needs to be told, out of respect to Bruce Lee.
and out of respect to Bruce Lee, a great human being, please don't make fun of this message.....
Peace...find joy in meditation....
I heard a doctor explain simply why that is the case.
If it was epilepsy related if anything the cannabis probably kept him alive for a long time.It is now suspected that Bruce Lee died from a condition known as SUDEP, it's sudden death caused by epilepsy, this condition wasn't recognized until years after his death. Cannabis played no role in his death, it was ruled out at his autopsy.
Hello New Member. What made you go and look up a 2 year old thread ?What A freakin joke. This is the most ridiculous thread I have come accross. First of all let me tell you guys I am from Nepal. I have been smoking hash since I was 14: I am 31 years now. I have smoked tons of hash. And let me tell you, it is really the best high you could get from smoking any cannabis form. I would compare it to current day dab strong in America. I have smoked and made my self the strongest hash I have ever experienced. Let me tell you, you can’t OD on it. It might cause you hallucination and extreme paranoia, but death no sir. I have had first hand experience with smoking and one occasion had to swallow about a gram to hide it from the police. When I swalloed it I was extremely high for an entire day and I didn’t even vomit. But what a crapload, this guy saying Nepalese hash killed Bruce lee. This guy should be admitted in mental institution, probably already is. LMAO what a bunch of crap....
Was just googling nepalese hash. And ran into this thread. Sure is funny as hell. LMAO.Hello New Member. What made you go and look up a 2 year old thread ?
