just a quick question guy's, if i was to scrog train my plants horizontally it would just be a matter of placing a net over plant and train everything flat and equal but how would one go about vertical? ive been searching for over a week on vertical scrog training video but no look lol, is it just a matter of just letting the plant get taller and each time a new branch comes through just pop it into the net?

cheers

The easiest way is to veg normally (horizontal bulb), as well as thru the stretch. Then tie the branches flat to a vertical screen and finish flowering vertically. Once branches are tied to the screen, all those lower budsites will b as close to the light as the tops (give or take). Tuck leaves behind the screen or remove them. I do alot of both (pic below is of a plant i trimmed heavily). I still wud reccomend clearing a little of the bottom small budsites. Im talkin bottom of a branch not bottom of the plant sites.

Good luck :)

thanks kush, the problem im worried about is if i train horizontally when it comes to lifting the net up to vertical what will happen to the plant? the plant would have to stay on the floor while the net is being turned vertical therefor im worried the plant will snap as its bending.

Hm i think yur confused.
Jus veg your plant straight up. No screen. Then when yu flower, mount a screen to yur pot or somethin and tie yur plant flat, straight up against it. Thats when yu'll have some crucial and experimental calls to make (vertical training).
I have also tried scrogging the plant as it grows up the screen in veg. I find this way to b more difficult then necessary. Cant get the light to close with 4ft of screen between it and the plant lol.
