vertical Grow Cabinet!!!

Plans for vertical grow cabinet.
sorry about the picture lol, hope you guys will understand it.

-8 autoflowering plants 2 on bottom left and right/2 on shelf left and right
-4ft legth/3ft width/6ft height
-fan in back middle
-carbon filter attached to exaust in top back/venting out top back
-intake vent bottom back
-400w hps dropped down 3ft in middle of cabinet/no hood
-shelf 3ft up on left and right
-3 gal pots
-and door/not in picture lol

lol, Very confusing. Shouldn't you tilt the pots so that the plant will go straight toward the light?

thinking of maybe having 2 lower wats hps lights. one 2ft down and the other 4 ft down.
any suggestions? Also what cfm should i use for venting ?

Hey Cheech, IMO I would just put them all on the floor bud. The intake and out take fans look good though...IMO

haha sorry bout that. cool idea so you mean like lay the pots totally on there side or just tilted? im guessing tilted lol

could i grow 8 autos under a 400w? instead of sides?

That would def. work for ya in there.

Just research the highest yielding vs. highest growing auto's and go from there..IMO

iight cool thx man. any idea where id put the intake fan/vent if i did that? directly on bottom blowing on a pot or a lil above where the pots end?

cool idea but it would work better with fewer plants. You will get the same amount of bud with 4 plants and 400w light. plus you only have 3' width so that only lets the plants get 1.5' on each side and your side growth is over. my biggest little plant is almost a foot across now, and it just went into flower. stack 2 250watt on top of each other and the top and bottom will get better coverage too. cool idea though, hope you can pull something off.

I think you got it right with exhaust top backside and intake bottom backside. I agree with Gumball though, forgot bout them spreading, speacialy if you LST them.

He probably wont need to lst if he has autoflowers.

You would be surprized. I have seen some at about 28 inches B4. Not sure what strain it was.

if you wanna see a different spin of a vertical cab, check out my signature, i'm running a Wall of Green, i highly suggest these Growwalls if you have the cajones to run alot more than 4 plants

Btw, ur picture is showing good planning initiative, but as with all cabinet builds space is going to be tight, so you should look up actual dimensions and add in all other items like ballasts etc.

sorry dont know what lst means? can yah tell me. yeah i feel like an idiot i forgot about side growth lol. i can change things up for legth width height cuz this isnt even built yet i dont own anything yet just trying to figure out everything befor its built. so maybe scratch vert. grow and not be crazy lol. Think this will work for norm setup light with hood over plants?

its actually 8 plants 4 on each side. but thx for the feedback man ill deff check that out . oh and im think have the ballast out side the cab

LSTing is where you gentlely tie the limbs down so they grow more pancake shape so you can grow longer in tight spots. You can find it on the forums here on how to do it exactly.

mine is 6 foot tall , 4 foot wide and 2 foot deep i am gunna try to start out with 7 autoblooms to see how it goes your schematic is kinda confusing buy a clothes wardrobe cabinet and redo it very easy i will show you new pics of mine if you use yahoo messenger add my name lay_brick they say run them on 20 light 4 dark
