Very nice. +rep. Do you think that if you used a 6" centrifugal fan and a cool tube, that you could put more plants below the lamp and increase yield?

i am not sure i follow but if you are talking about a regluar flat garden whith a cool tube then no i dont
but

i am gonna go back to a flat garden for my next grow as this was way more then i like to do and way more prouduct then i need whitch is alright by anymeans
my guess is i will pull just under .9 gpw and if done proper 1.5gpw or more could be had

but id i can pull 1 lb off a 600 flat no problem whith much less work and that is more then i need
so back to flat gardening for me

Well,
I guess sort of like a flat garden under your vert.

I figured by eliminating the hole for the fan, that you could setup several more plants underneath the bulb.

The cooltube would allow you to draw the heat off the bulb from above.

I know you said you didn't really want anymore yield, but I am just thinking about how to maximize the gpw of a vertical garden and it seams that there is some light being wasted there.

Just wondering your opinion...

actualy if you look at flo's vert he has plants like you ae talking about

he did not like them because he is a hydro man and the one on bottom were soil

i myself do not belive the 600's put off enough light downward when hung vert to get anything great.
that being said i grow for myself only and prefer quality over quantitie<:bigjoint:

but after joing a few fourms and browseing the online comminty the vert grow really intriges me.
whith this grow not going vert untill 2 week of bloom i am barley gonna pull 2 lbs and i did that on my last flat gardens before and i had 2 600 running

i will give it a go another time in the furture. but flat gardening is so much easyier
but i do truly belive if you are going for a killer yeild vert is the way to go.
i think i could get 1.0-1.3 gpw no problem whithin 5 grows whith 2 600

on avg i need 6 lbs a year to stay selfsufficient and have 28'x8' room to do just that.so more then enough room to expermint.

your big girls look great and the babies look killer. Looking forward to the barney's cheese and the KC haze!

8' x 28' must be nice! I would be seriously considering a new profession!

pics are coming of harvest
9 big girls have came down and 5 little ones got 6 more big girls and 2 littleones
yeild gonna be a little bit less then wanted i bet i get right around .75 gpw but i got that already on my flat gardens and was hopeing for around 1.0 or better. not that the extra was really needed but i wanted to make a nice batch of butter
but poor vert design on my part made watering a bitch and the extra work made it not worth it

i left my camra at tatt shop gonna go grab it today

and yes my spelling is shit (: dont care
