Venting into a bush?

I'm planning to run a 400w CMH light with a 400 CFM 6-inch fan, attached to a DIY carbon filter, planning to go in a 60X30X20 inch wardrobe. I have two options of windows: one where neighbors frequently pass by and would notice anything, like air blowing on their faces or fans running heavily at all times, and one that has a large bush right in front of it. Anyone have experience with venting into vegetation? Is there something I'm missing here that would make this a potential Big Issue that might end up with problems? The stealthier the better, even though I'm going in soon for my OMMP card.

It would depend on the temps of the outbound air. OMMP = Oregon? One bush outside of your house with zero snow on it might be a dead giveaway.

Yup, Oregon, but in an area where we get little to no snow. Good point thought and definitely one to keep in mind.

Given those two options, venting into the faces of passers-by, or venting into a bush, the choice is obvious.

Go for the bush. Your cfms are probably overkill and you should invest in a variable speed controller.

I'm running same light with a 4" fan 120 cfm running @ 50% speed controller, no sound, and carbon scrubbed. I'd doubt I would flutter the leaves of your bush.

Yeah, I figured, but wanted to check and make sure. First grow and trusting myself not at all to not screw it up, heh.

Thanks for the reassurance on the vegetation issue. I have a variac for controlling the speed of the fan. It seems to work wonderfully, though I'm about 90% sure my husband mostly saw an opportunity to get a toy for himself and it just so happened to work for my purposes.
