venting a room with only 1 vent per room

i am looking for some input... i will be getting two rooms set up that are 10x10x8 and in the rooms i only have one heat vent coming into each. Other than using the windows to exhaust all of my air what would be some of my options. any help is appreciated

Do you have a flat ceiling with a truss-style attic above? Dumping a load of moist warm air into your attic space might cause troubles unless the attic is very well ventilated. Safer to duct all the way out to the gable ends or to the soffit.

What about poking a hole through the wall to the outside? Install a dryer vent or something similar on the exterior wall. As long as the work is executed professionally, caulked, and painted, it's unlikely anybody would question it. Unless of course you grow some smelly weed and your "dryer vent" is pumping out air that isn't Downy-fresh...

Crawl or attic space - Does the room have a wardrobe? Pull the carpet up in the wardrobe and access the crawl space or go through the wardrobe ceiling - small area to patch later....few thoughts there

its a rental home and i am not looking to do anything to significant to the house itself. i could build something around the windows and patch a vent though it but dont feel that will look right from the outside of the house
