So am I using Royokos filter properly?(assuming im blowing out filter) How strong should my fans be? I'm using CFL's w/ soil. Am I doing anything wrong? Any suggestions on my grow box plans appreciated, thx.

depending on your light source youre gonna need much more ventilation. i suggest an inline inductor fan for exhaust and just have the one light proof hole to act as a passive intake

well thats good going with cfls. i love those bright little bastards. and if thats gonna be your primary light source then youre only gonna need a small exhaust system. still i dont think one computer fan will do the job. but nobody said you couldnt use 2, or even 3 if you are limited on resources

Yes you do penguin. But it is a simple task of buying a heavy gauge grounded (three prong) cord with the female end. You can find then at almost all hardware stores or you can simply cut the female end off of an extension cord and match the colors then splice them together. I recommend solder and liquid taping the wires individually, then once they dry liquid tape them together. Wire caps will work but make sure you tape them on and try to seal the small opening at best as possible

with your help, my grow room is now sitting at a happy 80 instead of the nasty 95!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that it was on Sunday. thanks for the help. Now I just need to throw away my faulty thermometer that told me the room was only 83 degrees.

Man, I hate shitty equipment. Save $30 on a thermometer...lose hundreds in time and nutes. Although I saved it this time, but still...
