I have 2 tents with 2x 100mm fans and the sound is annoying. If I’m going to install a silencer. Can I install 2x 100mm fans to 1x 125mm silencer or do they both need one silencer? Or do I need 125 or can I go with 100mm for both fans?

My marshydro has a controller, but my my ram fan it just has 2 stage, Can I connect it to a controller and adjust the fan speed even if it has a button on it to adjust 2 stage fan speed?

Not sure tbh.

usually the best type of fan for sound are acoustic box fans.

you can use some foam insulation in a box and drop your fan in it.

are you hanging your fans or allowing them to sit on something?

Im hanging it, maybe I can just wrap them in a blanket and put a blanket under my tents the sound maybe will go off

Also silencers and acoustic ducting.

Do you know the dB rating of your fans?

I run a 460m3/h fan approx 200cfm ( I think ) that says 44dB on 100% power.

I barely run mine on 100% unless it’s summer time.

due to room location though I can’t hear mine even on 100%

Well I don’t know really, I need to do some work on my fans to silence them.... even on 40% i think it’s to loud
