Here's the basic setup.

3 mothers (different strains) and my 6 veggies in a homebox XL (4ftX4ft).

6 budding in another HB XL.

240 watt led lighting system that includes
Twenty R220SB red LEDGrowLights
10 B60XB blue LEDGrowLights
http://ledsgrowinggreen.com

and 2 - 40 watt UVB lights

I need some ventilation advice, as all of my previous research is on HID ventilation which is much hotter. My other question is about the Flowering room. I plan on using a Co2 release system . Any advice, suggestions etc...

My concern is if I put a vent system in the homebox that changes out all the air every 5 minutes as you are supposed to, it will be pointless to feed Co2 into the room as the ventilation will remove it, or am I wrong.

I was originally going to go with Fox Farm nutes and soil, but am now considering an organic grow with just the FF soil. Does the Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom make a huge difference? Anyone with experience, knowledge is welcome to help out thanks.

Not worth it to use CO2 unless room is sealed. LED's are supposed to stay quite cool so perhaps you may get lucky. Run your setup and see what the temp caps at.

@G4TG

Yeah, I plan on watching the temps before jamming plants in there. So how can you put Co2 in a sealed grow area? Don't you need ventilation for healthy plants. This is where I am lost.

Thanks

A thermostatically controlled CO2/ventilation controller will help. It will turn off the CO2 and turn on the exhaust as needed.
I personally had better luck with Guano than with FF tiger bloom. FF Ocean Forest doesnt have enough phosphorus on its own for herb, i think, but a little guano fixes that right up.

I use quite a bit from the FF line up. I say scrap the guano if your going all organic. I really like Marine cuisine from FF. It includes guano and tons of good shit.

Personally,Im an gauno user and i add the gauno in water and let it sit for 3 days before use. This works really good and doesnt burn the plants but when i added to soil i got nute burns

Yeah I used to fill coffee filters and rubber band them for a home made tea bag guano. agitate over a few days and you got some guano tea.:bigjoint:

@NELights

Thanks for the info. I checked for Marine Cuisine on the FF website, didn't see it. I'll check again. I don't need huge ventilation. I am considering not using any filters for the veg, mother room just an intake and exhaust fan for air circulation. Now, the flowering room is a different story. All my neighbors know I burn, they know I'm a medical patient and don't care. I have assured them I will never give/sell it to their kids and they all are very understanding (same neighbors that tell us if we are having a party an the cops show up we can hide in their bushes lol). The girl that lives next to me is like 20 and a stoner chick (frickin cute too). Since I don't have to worry about officer hardass fucking with me, my only concern is having to put a few rounds into some genius who gets the idea to rip me off. Cost really isn't an issue, I just want it done right and have some amazing bud. Not really big on the shit teabag idea haha, I have a weak stomach when it comes to poo poo lol.

@DaMonk

That is an interesting concept, from what I understand, guano is bat shit (thank's Ace Ventura). Is it powdered or grainy like a soil? Does it dissolve or do you strain it? Nice pic BTW - 420 and tits, nice combination.

No no no. Farfard for starting seeds. Then in 2 weeks I transplant from party cups to whatever I'm using for containers at the time. The Pro-Mix is too coarse to start seeds, IMO. I used to mix in worm castings 20%. It got costly and I've been running it for the last 2 yrs without it and don't notice a difference.

Also one 3.8 commpressed bail will do 2 holes outside, i'm talking Lbers

1st off, I apologize for my noobness haha, I am used to outdoor growing all organic, however, my current situation does not permit me to do so. So, If I have this right, you use the Farfard for your germ/clones by itself and the Pro-Mix alone for veg/budding (I'm not talking nutes, just soil). If you're even in my neck of the woods, we should smoke a bowl (or 5) together, get's kinda old just blazing with my g/f.

Ok so to clarify, I use the Farfard or ANY super fine germinating mix for that matter to start seeds.

Pro-mix I use for everything else, clones, veg flowering.

I'm on the east coast. Just got about 8 inches last night. Of snow, for all those dirty minds out there, hehe.
