hello!

i have some questions regarding ventilation and temperatures for a closet that measures 4x2x6.

i want to get a HID bulb, and i think i want to get a 600W HPS because i figure i could use the heat from the lamp to my advantage since the winter in my region is very harsh and starts getting cold by mid september....

but does anyone have any experience with how much heat a 600W hps produces??? temps i during fall are usually in the 40-50F and in the winter is constantly way below freezing from late october to the beginning of march and then it starts getting hot....

if i want to buy an air cooled reflector so i can keep the closet as cool as possible during spring and summer, about how many CFM's would i need to keep a bulb that big cool???

also would a 50 cfm extractor fan work good enough for general exhaust air? (not counting the one for the reflector)

600 Watt HPS keep your closet in the mid 80s I have two in my closet it can keep your closet warm in the winter definitely, probably perfect temp . You need some ventilation for the summer just throw a digital therm in there so you can get some readings. 50cfm sounds adequate
