Yes it will, how much depends on how many plants and strain. Always vent hot gases to non-conspicuous place, under a structure is the best. Charcoal/carbon filters are a must for privacy.

Absoutely, carcoal filters are the way to go. Make sure to put a nylon over the intake to prevent dust form settling on the glass and bulb. Excess dust blocks light and reduces the life of the bulb.

okay well here is my dilemma right now i have the lights setup and the temps reach in the 100s if the exhaust fan isnt on almost all the time...now...im using co2 and i did set the fan to turn on at a higher temp then before having introduced the co2 trying to maintain it around 90..but even then the exhaust fans turns on very often and wastes all my co2 i just went through a 20lb bottle in 3days!! maintaining it at 1500ppm! so now i want to have my hoods vented completely separate from the room venting...but how can i set it up so it doesn't vent the air from the room but only the lights...and still have a carbon filter attached for oder control...i was thinking of buying a in-duct Ozone Generator but a friend told me they are unreliable and dont work that good... or i was thinking to set it up like this ... inline fan at intake drawing air in a "T" fitting to make 2 vents one supplying air to the room the other goes to the 1st light then a in-duct fan at the end of the light then the same vent continues to the 2nd light another in-duct fan at the end of the light then the vent goes into a box with a carbon filter inside that is vented through the box with another inline fan sucking all the air through and then out....will this work ...pls advice thank you

here is what i mean
Looks good.but if you could make the exhaust completely straight with no bends your efficiency will go up tremendously and will help keep bulbs cooler. Im from the desert so temps outside are around 120 f. I insert a 2' inlet into my intake from my ac to keep air cool. but be careful to keep air temps steady cause fluctuating temps are bad for bulbs
