vent question

Don't vent into the roofspace unless you have a velux window and the roof itself insulated. The heat will build and your house will glow like a 600w hps, to an IR camera that is. Recipe for the feds to pay a visit.
its the roof of the second floor, the floor of the attic..

if a built a small grow box and had a carbon filter and jus ran the ducting out the box and into the room would it still stink, cause i was thinking of doing that and jus leaving the window open in the room 24/7? and maybe a large fan outside the box in the room.
im just saying this because i really cant be making holes in the walls/celings as its not my house and i have had strict orders lol
it isnt hard to patch dude. really just look up how to patch drywall... u would patch is and re paint it and no1 would even know its there except you.

im currently growing 6 plants under a 600w HPS in a bedroom that is 9ft x 12ft but i cannot apply any ducting or exractor fans, it also gets quite hot in there (30 degrees celsius).
would a few good strong blowing fans and opening the door for an hour a day be ok? as i said i really cant be fitting ducting and other such things as it is not my house. i will b getting a tent and appropriate equiptment for my next grow but for this one im gonna have to find ways around it.
any advice would be much appriciated TY bongsmilie
you can buy sealed warehouse lamp units second hand on ebay.

they are solid steel (and i mean solid) with ballasts built in they do not emit as much heat as a bare bulb or a cheap crap chinese reflector unit that you pay through the nose for because it is labelled hydroponic.

they are called low bay warehouse lights and they are fitted horizontally, they have to be solid and have safety glass fitted as health and safety is paramount in the workplace. ( metal halide bulbs have been known to explode )

they are usually metal halide but you can rip out the guts and just feed in your own ballast cable and reconnect it to the lamp holder and then put it back together and add your 600w hps.

you can also get hps ones.

heres one that requires a piece of glass added.

i bet you a million bucks you get down to about 20-25c temps.

i got 10 used ones on ebay uk for £150 second hand 2 years ago. ($233.15)

the ballast does throw off quite a bit of heat so i just make them remote.
