I just built a new grow box this week. I'm running strictly CFL's (6x 26W daylight, 2x 26w warm white). The box is approx 3'x2'x4'. I plan to get about 2 good plants by the end of this grow. I will have pictures up in the next few days however as of right now I'm battling the heat. With the door closed it gets up to around 85 (scary to me) and with it open its stopping on around 80. I currently have two 93MM PC fans mounted on each side, one blowing in and one blowing out. I have two more on the way which I plan to mount side by side with the existing two for a greater effect. I'm trying to keep this low budget... Any ideas for a quick fix? I'm open to all suggestions, kinda desperate gonna see sprouts soon I hope to not have a heat issue at that point. Possibly a few more small fans and port holes at the top? Would this work? Would the amount of light escaping from such port holes be an issue?
