vegging plants too tall for grow room

i have 3 plants of northern lights growing in soil under a 400watt hps
that are around 4 feet tall. So i have about another foot i can raise my light before it hits the roof anyone know a way to keep them under 5 feet tall over the next 8-9 weeks of flowering.
and i already topped a couple of weeks ago

search "supercropping". you can pinch the stems and bend them over. i think there might be a video on youtube.

start flowering imdiatley
