vegging for 2 wks. with ScrOG

This is copied over from that one guy down the page but no on replied to him :( I am also curious about this so I'm asking it again. Could I veg. for only 2 weeks then switch into flowering? Would I get a harvest worth my time (more than a few grams:joint:)? I've seen someone do this before and I could use some advice. Has anybody tried this method of growing or have pics of a grow using this method? Really any advice at all would help me. If enough people agree that it is of interest I will start a grow journal using this grow method.
 
Are you vegging from clones or seed? If it's from clones then yes, if it's seed, then no, you wouldn't get a scrog worth the time.
 
usally the best way to scrog is to veg for long time and train the shit out of your plants. like topping them every two nobs if you do it right your babies. you well have a super bushy plant then two weeks before you flower then scrog it and top it with that orange highway safety barrier shit. i believe the longer you veg the bigger yield
 
So I veg. for a long time while topping my plants then I train them into the wire? I thought I was supposed to train them into the wire at about 10 inches? Or do I just top them at around 10 inches then train them into the wire:confused:
 
Youll actually want to begin scrog training long before you are ready to flower....I would start training when the plant is 10-12 inches tall.....your screen should be 10 inches from your soil....if you go from clone once rooted you could train for two weeks or so then flower...the plant will be the same genetic age as what you took it from so it will flower just as well

well it up to you. i vegged for two months inside then stuck them outside about two weeks ago. i had tied branches down while I vegged they are flowering and Im using scrog outside. i waited and they look great. but if size and room is aproblem then scrog at ten
 
thing about it you want your buds to be above the screen acourse right. if you wait when you have trained and you have a ton of bud site. then use scrog so you can get light to all the buds even the bottom branchs

EDIT: Why can't I train them from like 5 inches? Just curious.

because you will want to kill yourself once you realize that you cant move under a screen that is 5 inches from the soil....you need room to trim and train and manicure and water etc

My screen is about 5" from the soil and I have absolutely no problems getting under it to clean it out (but then the palm of my hand is about 3" wide so I have small hands).

goddddddam....well I was just goin by what Ive read and what works for me...after I transplanted I lost several inches between soil and screen and its a pain in my ass to water...I have to pour my mix into a smaller cup 3 times and pour each one...all my underneatch training was done before but I would have slit my wrists if I had to do clones and training with the height that I have now.....and MsMilf I think this boy has bigger hands than you precious!!!

Heh,so true.

Pink... I did all my training from on top of the screen. I only have to go under the screen to water and clear away all the crap, so really I don't have to do any extensive work under the screen. Training is done by just poking the buds under the screen, no tying down, wire, nothing. Just index finger pokage! :)

For watering I pour the water straight into the saucers and let the plant suck it up, then I use a turkey baster (5oz's) and squirt some solution on the top of the soil every few days or so.

I just placed the screen on top of the plants, literally it's just plonked on there, not tied down or anything. After the screen placement I then start ed tucking under. This was on the 10th of March. I switched to 12/12's the next day.

This was the screen by the 14th of March
