Hi , I was wondering if I could continue vegging my plant since it has shown female preflowers. Do i have to put it into flower mode now or can i veg for another month?

I have a ton of space that wont be used , so I can veg for as long or as little as i like.

The plant is 36 days old total . id like to veg for about 70 days so i can get MORE !!!

Sure, throw it back into a veg photo period like you were running before 12/12. It will take a few days and she will return to growing roots and shoots.

I think Hilo is saying he's still in the veg mode (18/6) but has preflower...so he is asking if he must change to 12/12 or can he continue with veg mode.

this is a good question that I am not 100% sure on, but I would think you can continue for a period of time in veg mode with preflower, but for how long I'm not sure

I had preflowers around the same time for my current plant and thought I had to put it in 12/12 but I was told that you can still keep in 18/6 for as long as I liked so yea keep her under the 18/6 for another month. Preflowers just tell you the sex of the plant and that it's sexually maturing that's all.

Thanks Sun King, been responding to a lot of posts this morning and I'm jacked up on caffeine!

OP, my last veg period went 8 weeks. They showed pre-flowers towards the end, but as long as the photo period remains in vegetative they will keep growing and not flower. As soon as I flipped the light, within three days I had bud sights and active flowering. These are 12 days into 12/12 as an example.

Just watch your light schedules and you can grow regular plants in vegetative for years. I'm assuming your are not talking about auto plants? Autos flower "automatically" and you cannot extend the veg period.
