ok bro heres the thing .. your lights look like they have red spectrum... meaning they look orange when they're on .. my lights are blue spectrum.. they look white when they're on .. u want blue spectrum for veggin and red for flowering honestly u could grow with the lights u have but u might be disapointed andmight not be ..

i would go to walmart with 30 bucks 40 max and buy 3 packs of 2 daylight spectrum 26 watt bulb florecents they work wonders for both vegg and flowering dont listen to wat anyone else says about it my grow is living proof that they do and im only usin 3 42 watts so u can see it can be done and produce fat dank nugs especially if u only got 2 plants heres a list of wat to get and u should be good


6- 26-100 W equivilent daylight spectrum florecent bulbs
3 Y splitters from home depot
and 3 light sockets with cord (not a whole lamp fixture)

6 bulbs $7.45 for 2
Y splitters $2.13 a piece
light sockets $7.85 a piece

grand total $52.20

u could even just get 4 bulbs 2 splitters and 2 sockets and be happy

Hey Master, i have a few question for you, first of is this your first grow??? and what strain are you growing? i like the set up of your grow room and thats becuase it looks a lot like the first set up i used lol anyways good luck and keep up the good work on asking question and trying to learn more stuff so you can grow some good smoke.

if u decide to go with 4 bulbs try and get 42 w bulbs and dont go by the 42 w 100 wat equivilent that doesnt mean its 100 wats it means they're 42 which is the actualy wattage so ud need like 4 of em or 6 23 w

Yes this is my real first grow. The seeds are just bagseed, I want to get this down before I spend money on real good one. You know. I am really on a budget for real hardcore budget. It is a speaker box I am using.

grand total was only 50 bucks dude im sure u could make that and u can use the lights for your first second third fourth and so on grow :) it be worth ur money dude promise u saw my grow and that isnt even as much light as i told u to get

Thank you man. I will get that stuff it might take me awhile but i will and thanks for everything. But I already have a 42w cfl. So when you look for lights what are you really looking for on the package. I was told to look for the light output. But i don't know now. I will pm Thanks man Really Thank you.

ur 42 wat is not the daylight spectrum which is why i suggested u didnt use it i mean it wont hurt the plant just wont grow as good u can for sure use wat u got for now but eventually get the setup and you'll learn more as u go along good luck!!!

buying CFL's you should look for these things on the box:

Light Temperature: (daylight, Soft White, Full Spectrum)
Light Temperature in Kelvin: (Soft White 2700K, Daylight 6500K)
Watts: Use Actual wattage not equivalent, (26-27watts roughly equal 100watt equiv. and 42watt equal 150 watt equiv.
Lumens:

Thats about all i look at, its pretty easy to locate them from brand to brand once you've done your shopping a couple times. good luck!

yeah cfls work wonders if you use them right people dont believe that you can grow a plant from seed to harvest with just a few of them but its true it works especally well with lowryders because they stay so short and are done in a month and a half. the ak-47 lowryder that i grew with 4 42w cfls was some of the best bud i have ever had.
