Apologies for the radio silence!

Run off PH'd at 6.7. So that's in control.

All the fan leaves in the upper canopy are like I put them in the deep fryer. Strange thing is, the buds are rock hard and packing on weight.

I'll try n grab a pic when lights drop off for true colours - but it ain't gonna look pretty :D

Hats off to your patience on this long ass grow! :D

Your crispies remind me of 2 clones (which had a 2 month clone-time - I kind of forgot them for a while and then recovered them to grow them out ) I just finished growing. They were really self-defoliating - the leaves went yellow and dried off all over the plants, leaving almost only the colas standing.
My explanation in my case is that nutrient cycling in the soil wasn't working right.

So though the leaf damage looks a bit different on yours, perhaps you're in a similar situation - something is off (maybe even still a bit of aftereffect from her waterless week, which may have damaged the leaf tissue now affected?) so your plant is redirecting everything it can get into the flowers (as plants will do when they "think" they're going to die: reproduce!). Although it really does look awful, it's kind of cool too haha :bigjoint:

Do you have any idea of how long they have to go (as in flower time of mother plant?)

Mother plant was vegged for 4 months ... so mine is actually ahead of her atm. So I'm completely in the dark!
I'm thinking I've got 2 - 5 weeks. Bit of a vague area ... but like you say it's hard to know without any history.

The undergrowth is still a nice green. Think I've got everything balanced now. Gonna go hempy on my next grow. See how that works out :D

Gave a couple of the colas a squeeze today to see how they feel. They are rock hard. Like stone.
Am super impressed, am hoping that whilst they dont look like monster colas, they'll be heavy due to being dense.

Dont be ashamed of crispy plants, if you can work out whats causing it then it shouldn't happen again :) I'm convinced it's a lockout of some description, but thats just my opinion, I'm by no means a pro. Whether it 's due to PH fluctuations or salt build up is hard to say although both should be controlled easily with the biobizz range, I'm not even sure if it contains nutrient salts atall tbh. Either way good flushes with PHd water between feedings should prevent this happening in the future.

Ps your nugs looks great! some of primest nugs I've grown have come off haggard old shrubs!

I reckon you're spot on with the lockout. Was always a risk leaving her alone for 8 days.

Apprewciate the feedback though, will chuck another pic up sometime this week from same angles to show any improvements in size.

I think I'm near the point of chopping her. She started throwing out the random nanner on an occasional bud.

Was kind of expecting it. Going to grab some proper pics tonight after lights out. Got a new scope coming tomorrow too, proper high def usb one.

Makes sense. She's at day 145 and day 53 of flower.

Hey man, nanners this late in the game ain't the end of the world. If you're planning on chopping soon then seeds wont have time to form. however I find that last 2 weeks is where I gain most of my weight from the calxys swelling ect so be careful not to chop too early ;)
Would love to see a pic

Can grab pics under HPS but they look soo washed out n horrid. I ain't turning the lamp off for now though. If HPS pics do it for ya I'll throw one up.
Planning to really scutinise the trics with my new scope too, hoping to see a lot of cloud!

So am getting close to chopping. Some pics of the whole plant. Will get tric pics up later today or tomorrow once my scope arrives.
Still find an occasional young nanner so think they must be done as hairs are predominantly brown and the buds are dense as hell.
Thoughts from this?

So yeah... I had been toying with this plant for some time in my other journal. She's got to the time where she needs her own column!

So she's a complete unknown, I guessed she might be some form of sour bomb (tis what the person that gave me the clone eluded to) as I got her as a little runty clone.
I cloned her from cutting direct into soil. No rooting hormone/gel or anything. Just domed her for a week with a coke bottle. :D

Wanted to put her in my tent after my autos were done and just veg the shit out of her until she takes over the 3x3 space.
600 watt hps.
15 litre airpot.
Bio Bizz nutes.
Foliar fed with Bio Weed - over did it and gave her some random spotting of burning so backed off with that.
Soil/perlite mix.
20/4 for veg thus far.
Scrog net will be going up over the coming weeks.
I'll sling some pics of progress in for your amusement.

Thinking of letting her branch out for the next week or 2 then top everything and tie everything back and let her grow for another 2 - 4 weeks after.
Expect by that point she'll be a monster.

Gimme some advice? Am I pushing her too much? Am I taking the piss vegging a plant like this for soo long?
It's all just an experiment to me for now.

1st February 2016 - She's clinging to life!!

28th February 2016 - I think she likes being tied up!! (27 days)

5th March 2016 - Decided to untie and stake her out to do less damage to branches (33 days)

9th March 2016 - More LST! Running out of stakes! (37 days)

27th March 2016 - Stakes don't reach the soil any more - use em as weights instead!! (55 days)

Same time as previous pic - Stem growth is sturdy!

Same time as previous 2 pics - Bushy as now!

So am I taking the piss vegging her for another 4 - 6 weeks? I want her to fill the tent with a nice even canopy. Light is as low as I can get it currewntly. So got a good 5 foot of room to take it up. Also only got it dialed in at 400watt currently.
Give me some pointers guys.
Great grow. Nice pictures. I see you understand these plants need support to hold them up. I ignored that to many times. Your 2 liter clone grower/steam room. Could you tell me how you control air flow in it?

Was super simple. Old 2 litre clear bottle. Cut the bottom off. Pierce a hole in the side for a temp humidity probe and use a spray bottle to soak inside. Unscrew the cap just a tad so it has the ability to breathe slightly and place over your plant with about half an inch of the bottle in the medium.

LOVE that idea and I'm going to use it. Thank you.

Your leaves look like they should at that point. The buds need to eat the plant. Just use only water right now. The breaking down of the leaf nutes are the best way to get the other things out of your plant you don't want. Be proud that your leaves are entering the fall season. That also gives the plant more of a push to bud. Your rocking it. I know it is sad to see the leaves do that. Just know that it is helping your final product a lot.
