veg tent?

Looking to get a veg tent so I can keep the flower room going. I have 2 1ks going its my first grow 15 plants just about to switch to flower.

Wondering what size tent I would need and how long I could veg them in 7" pots..

I think I plan to go with 15 plants again..maybe a couple more depending how these go.
Also how much light would be efficient throughout whole veg for that many plants? I over killed it and used my two 1ks lol.

5x5 would be decent for 18 medium veg plants (15" tall) or 36 small 10" veg plants. 1000w mh or x2 4' 8 bulb t5, or x8 2 bulb t8s. I think that would work well.

ah great..thats what i was looking for..would something like 2 400W or something be good enough to veg 18 plants til that tall?
or 2 300 or 400w leds(better for heat)
what size pot can i keep them in? would it have to stay in a 3gallon to grow 15" tall...

Heat. Heat. Heat.

Those are you three main problems. You tackle heat transport and cooling based on the size of the tent. Bigger is much better.

x2 400s would work well, I've no experience with LED, but I have heard good things and they will run much much cooler than 2 400w bulbs would. Personally, I'd go with x2 8 bulb t5. That puts you around 950watts and will run cooler, also they veg just as good as LED and are cheaper. I picked up one on ebay for around $120 with free shipping and it included the bulbs. Very good deal.

As Doer mentioned, heat is the biggest concern. If you have heat figured out (exhaust and/ or AC) then you will totally be fine.

true.. thatll veg 15 plants til 15 " tall? and not stretch or anything

For sure, you wouldn't want to veg much taller than that with t5, but IMO t5 will out perform MH (a little slower veg) but the node spacing is so great with t5 or t8's work well. Make sure it's a High Output t5 (usually all grow lights will be HO). Your girls are looking great man.

Thanks man..will any 4x4/tent do ? I think I can squeeze 15 of those pots in one ..maybe veg them with two 400s..will that fit Inna 4x4 tent two 400s

No problem man. I would opt for a 5x5 but a 4x4 is actually better for light coverage.. For flowering I'd use a 4x4 per 1000w of light but for veg the extra room in a 5x5 is totally worth it. (light coverage will be perfect in a 4x4 as a 1000w light has a approx. 4x4 light spread). Figure a little more than one square foot of space per plant to veg: 4x4 tent=16 plants (extremely packed in there, there will be no extra space) but a 5x5 tent would have 25sq/f of space and would comfortably fit 16 plants.

I'm thinking about maybe just using my downstairs bathroom to veg in n go out the exhaust fan lol

Right on, bathrooms work great for veg, they will hold a higher humidity and all you have to do to raise the rh is turn on the shower 8-) exhaust through the ceiling vent, perfect idea!
