Veg. Room issues: yellowing, browning leaves pH @ 6.0

I've got several different strains in veg right now. The worst of them is Cotton Candy pictured below with worsening yellow leaves and brown tips. The other strain pictured is Super Lemon Haze and although it doesn't have the same severity of symptoms that the Cotton Candy has, this is a perfect example of how those same symptoms started.

My pH levels are always at 5.9 - 6.0
I grow in GreenTree Grower's Blend (soil)
Vermicrop 7-4-4 Vegetative Dry Fertilizer
(1) 2'x4' Gorilla Lite Line Tent
(1) Gale Force 4" Inline Fan, 182 CFM
(1) Covert Carbon Filter 4" x 12", 200 CFM
(1) AgroBrite Fluorescent Grow Light T5 4FT/4 Tube

I flushed all affected plants today just before completion of this post with only water 6.0 pH

My first harvest is near completion and I didn't have these problems until now, though I've changed nothing.. I suspect it's a cal/mag deficiency, but I'd rather know before dumping money and nutrients they don't need, possibly worsening the issue.. like wandering around in the woods after you realize you're lost, just making things worse.. any help would be greatly appreciated!

How long have they been in veg ? and what size pots do you use ?

Could be nute lock out but I find this can happen when your roots hit the bottom and side of the pots, saying that some plants yellow their leaves to grow roots, and I use aspirin sometimes as both a bud hardener and a root stimulator but that causes a yellowing/loss of some fan leaves

but yeah that looks like it could be cal/mag or and npk issue

If you have plants with weak leaves remember to keep an extra eye out for insects and mold trying to attack the weaker parts of the plants, as that`s how things can get ever worse

I`ve run cotton candy before she grows flower leaves and buds up loads so not too much to worry about as long as you can keep the rest nice and green

does the soil already have fert in it? you probably don't need much more, at least for a while anyway. you've put veg and bloom fert together. I suspect what you're suppose to do is veg in the veg fert and soil, the transplant into soil with bloom fert in it, a bigger container, for the flowering cycle. you have dark green leaves with dying leaf tips, which usually means over fert. the yellowing is just an effect that is telling you the whole leaf is dying, and soon the whole plant will be dead. just use the soil by itself and determine if it has fert in it already. in giving so much fert you've actually created a soil that has at least 10-14-9 NPK ratio, along with whatever fert might be in the soil. You're cooking them with ferts.

Just to clarify:
The issue is not with my flowering plants,.. (I'm assuming you pulled the top info from my grow journal?)
I'm not using anything except the 7-4-4 Veg fertilizer on my vegetative plants. Not both fertilizers.

The soil is not pre-fertilized, though it does have a small touch of nutrients in there. I haven't had a problem using it alone for the first few weeks w/ new clones or seedlings, but after that is when I start feeding them, first at half strength for the first two weeks, then full strength after that. Wasn't a problem for my first run.

You may be right about cooking 'em w/ ferts though,...
I did try some crazy tea made from the ferts, and guano.. worked great for a while, and I continued on w/ no reason to stop.. then troubles started. So.. I flushed them all today @ 6.0 pH. We'll see.

Funny you mention pot size, because it'd been something I'd suspected..
I transplanted up a few gallons to really let them stretch before my next run, since I've learned it's a bigger pot that's gonna get me a bigger plant..

Asiprin? you gotta tell me more.. I'm intrigued

Yeah I noticed that pot size really matters

Funny thing is I can grow a big plant in a 1L pot but its a lot faster if I put a smaller plant into a bigger pot, I guess the roots can feel the size and grow the plant bigger plus I guess there`s more bennies in bigger pot

I mean yeah super root type pots with holes in them mean the plant gets half way there but not like if I start them and then go right into 3 gal sacks, last time I put a biddy little one from a 2 to 4l pot into a 50/60L sack I was shocked the difference between it and one that was in a smaller sack but saying that I see the trees some people get when the plant them into the unlimited ground, lol

Aspirin aka acetylsalicylic acid

It occurs in many plants, some people use willow branches to make willow water for taking clones with that works because willow branches have a lot of aspirin in them

You have to get some and play with it yourself

I`ve given a high dosage to a plant before that was say 30/40days into a 70/80 day flower and well 10 to 20 days later all the leaf had gone dry and yellow and the buds were hard the plants yield was a lot less but it was ready a lot faster

So if I want to harden up the buds when I make my pk booster to add during flowering I add up to 100mg per L of aspirin but start low and work up

Actually you have to spray a plant with it at around 1g per L or more is when you`ll notice it on a flowering plant

Or try a bit of aspirin and Vit`s b1 and b12 in some water for making clones with

It`s handy because its so easy to get hold of

I`m not an expert on using it I just add it sometimes to help the buds get harder faster

but I know you can use it for rooting too, but tbh I normally have rooter, it`s pk13/14 and over priced boosters I refuse to pay for, so I started mixing up my own

Monopotassium-Phosphate, along with some triacontanol and a bit of aspirin, some times some fulvic acid and b vits is my go to fast and cheap "pk boost" that I mix up sometimes way cheaper then anything I could buy and if you use it with a good bloom feed you`ll get better results then just using a pk 13/14 with no boost, I`d use seaweed extract instead but the smell and the size of it, 10g of triacontanol 90% will last ages

but yeah for sure aspirin can speed up the buds but the plant will yellow up and drop all its fan leaves faster too

If you read about I`m sure others can give you some more info on how much to use and how best to use it

I add a bit to my pk booster when I make it

I probably add anything from 500mg to 5g to make up a 1l bottle I then feed that bottle at around 1 to 2ml per L but I`m mostly setting it up as a pk boost not as a rapid bud hardener

I`d say some where between 100mg and 1g per L is about the max for watering with it

maybe 50 to 500mg per L for a spray

but do some research, but something like 20 to 200ppm in a spray and 50 to 500ppm in a feed should give you some kinda starting point to then dial it in for your usages

Seriously that root zone is feeding six leaves on the whole plant. Whered all the leaves go? What in the world are you doing there? Please explain.

pH too low too. Once over fert is in the soil, it's difficult to save the plant. Only thing you can do is flush and hope for the best.
