Going to be germinating 10 feminized seeds here in a few weeks gonna be throwing them under 1 400w MH for a 14/10 veg cycle till around the first week of May then the light outside will be exceeding 14 hours per day through the next month or two. Will my plants still veg outside without flowering and revegging? I Want big plants with my two batches of super soil and 2 15 foot raised beds!

2 Swiss cheese, 2 ICE, 2 BlackJack, 2Kaya GOld, 2 Maui waui
Really wanted to plant some TGA seeds this year but gonna experiment with that indoors later this year! VORTEX!!!

Looks like were gonna have a hard time getting answers to these
questions lol. Maybe its just gonna take time until someone with some
expirience comes across these posts. I'm wanting to do the same thing
but I want to get mine out by April 15th, just not sure how I should run
my light cycles yet. Until I find some help i'm dropping them an hour
everynight from 24/0 till I get to about 14/10.

I put some plants in the ground last year in feburary and our
last frost was like April 11th lol. I constructed a homemade cold
frame in the forest out of a cleal plastic tote. Cut the bottom out
of it and buried it about half a foot in the ground. There was about
a foot of it exposed on top of the ground and I lined it with bubble
wrap and kept the lid cracked with a stick. The soil was ammended
with promix, perlite and water absorbing crystals and I had them
in 8 inch cups burried in the ground to the rim. Germed my seedlings
there also and the box protected them from the freezes, not frost.
In mid march I transplanted them to different sites in there holes and
kept them covered with plastic milk jugs till april.

I know its odd because when they germed they were getting only
11 and a half hours of light a day until the the first of april when
they hit around 13 hrs of daylight. I dont recall any of them showing
sex until the very end of august and most turned out to be female.
They yielded pretty decent but not like I wanted. I think i dug my holes
to small. This year im digging three by three ft holes. Only one of them
hermied i assume because Im pretty sure i killed all males on time.

Maybe we should just give it a shot, hell I dont know. The only reason
im not using last years method is to save all the hard ass labor lol.
Good luck my friend.

GOTTA REP THE Lagunitas!
drinking lagunitas sucks right now, bro....undercover shut down is my favorite brew (next month!) rep's bro....im hella a fanboy...

i would start with 16/8 on the lights...and slowly move it to 14/10
imo they will enjoy the extra light...i am going to start cutting back light later this month...(but i don't cut as much as you..i use supplemental lighting outside)
if you have the 400w and have an ok amount of room you could pop the beans now..
don't let them get too root bound or it will hurt your yield come October....good luck man!

mk goin straight into 3 gal pots, hope they get at least a foot on 14/10 n 5 weeks before transplanting them outside.

Also wondering on my strains
-Ice
-Blackjack
-Swiss Cheese
-Kaya Gold
-Maui Waui

All from Nirvana seed bank and since Im using supersoil as my fert, Im left wondering how much each strain will need, I was planning on filling my 2 3' x 15' raised bed with 30% of supersoil and just using roots as the base.

Every strain is different and I some opinions on how much food each strain will need.
These are all feminized and I heard Sub say that the cheese strain does not particually like the super soil so Ill go less on that.

I was planning on doing 2 fem seeds of each strain but now Im starting to wonder if I should just do 2 different strains 10 total. Anyone?

Thanks

Its outdoor season here in SoCal. I started some Tahoe Og from Cali Connection under 24/0 indoors. I plan on taking them outdoors may 1 and this is my first time vegging indoors to flower outdoors. I know being under 24/0 and then going outdoors to the natural sun cycle will make my girls flower and im looking for advice on the best way to make this indoor outdoor transition with the least ammt of plant stress. And how long before they will go back to veg ??
Thanks for any advice HAPPY 4:20

Some Indica's flower with 14/10, I recommend at least 15/9 for vegging...

Outdoors MJ vegs for 3 months (May, June, July) in my region and flowers for 9 months, Its a bit tricky to understand photoperiod. If you plant a clone in February, it will flower until May then revert to veg until July, then flower again... It's all about dark hours...

If your growing with seedlings. Figure out the amount of light there will be outdoors in 6-8 weeks. Then set your light schedule the same.
A seedling naturally (unless forced under 12/12 lighting) takes 6-8 weeks before sexual maturity.
I've had seedling under 24 hour light until thier 3rd to 4th week then put them in a greenhouse to acclimate with no ill results.

Clones on the othe hand (from what I've obser, I don't use clones outdoors) are completely different. They are sexually mature as soon as theve rooted.
