Is the little flood lights with the 120w halogen bulb ok for vegin?

no, to hot too.Best to go with shop lights t12's, 4 foot one's.I have a 80w florescent light for clone and veg

Thanks for replyin.. Is yr floresents cold blue ? Seen flor's when i was down buying the floodlight but it only said white on the casing for the bulb. The room is cold enough woulld the floodlight cause stretching?

there the white ones.Why not go for a hps setup 250w or 400w?

yes, there not the right lighting for mj.If your going this rout, then go with cfls.

If you can handle the heat of a halogen, you could probably handle a 250W MH/HPS lamp.

i dont know how much the halogen would even cost , but for 80 beans you could grab a 150 watt CFL....or a bit more for 250w HPS...
