Thanks! What would the full power be out of all 8 veros and how low can I dim them watts wise?
Full power should be 26.5volts X 8 = 212 volts X .35 amps = 74.2 watts

The driver comes with a dimming circuit which can be operated with either 0-10v source, pwm generator or a potentiometer. I like the potentiometer because it's cheap and it works well. To dim a single driver you will need a 100k linear taper potentiometer. The dimming wires on the driver are labeled + & -. You just connect the positive wire to the center post of the potentiometer and the negative to either of the outside posts depending on which way you want to turn the knob for dimming.

What if i bought the HLG-80H-C350A with internal dimming? Would adjusting the internal dimmer, dim all 8?
I kind of prefer it that way.
The A version has a plug in the top of the driver which covers a small trim pot. It's a little less convenient than an accessible knob and the dimming range is less. It can be dimmed to 60% (210ma). The B version can be dimmed to almost zero. And they cost the same. That's why I like and recommend them.

Ok cool. I figure I wouldn't dim below 60% anyway and will only be adjusting the dimmer once after 2 or 3 weeks after sprout.

Who has a solid potentiometer for that driver? I'm kind of leaning towards the b now so I can dim down more in case I want to start at 30 40%. I'm all about saving power where I can. The a style will be better suited for my hlg 1400's for my flower lamp since I'll only be dimming between 700ma and 1050a

I bought a bag of 10 off ebay. I think it was $7. Here's a listing for 2. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-x-100K-OHM-Linear-Taper-Potentiometer-Pot-B100K-/260807160534?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cb95172d6
