Veg in Soil Flower in Hydro?

I was wondering if it is possible or even ok to veg in soil then switch to hydro for flower?
This way i dont have to buy two ebb and gro systems.
I want to be able to harvest on a monthly cycle which is why im asking this question.
Thanks.

Simply dip the root system in water shake the soil off, wouldn't i need a second ebb and gro for a perpetual hydro?
Im trying to avoid having to buy another system.
TBH, I am an old fashioned soil grower...never grew in hydro and have no intention of doing so. Soil ain't broke so I ain't gonna fix it.

Yes you can. But I would suggest just using a medium like coco that is easy to switch to hydro. I just did this with two plants. What media are you usin for ebb n flow? You can just pull the middle of the top of the block out and transplant coco directly to your blocks. Or you can just use coco as a media in your ebb n flow. It's cheaper than rockwool and you can treat small cups or pots like soil to veg clones or seeds in.

You can just use coco instead of hydroton. Or you can rinse the roots when you swap. As long as you swap your res often it wouldn't really matter if you potted coco straight into hydroton.

It is common to star seedlings in dirt then switch them to hydro when the roots can support the plant. My buddy grows them to 6-8 inches in dirt then moves them to his hydro set-up. He fills a 5 gallon bucket 2/3 full of warmish water and gently swirls the rootball in the water until the dirt is rinsed away. Then you place the plant in the pellets with the roots downhill from the stem.

Good luck, BigSteve.
