Veg bloom or dual

Hi guys. Bought an led light after wanting one for ages and I'm not disappointed the heat difference is night and day and I can see my plants being far happier for it.
My light is a 300 watt kingbo duel optical lens and has three settings. All blue all red and both which is kind of purple.

Question, is it better to stick to the specific modes for the stage of growth or is just going dual spec going to be overall better.

My thoughts are dual is better but I don't know if I'm right or not..

These 2 day old seedlings seem to be loving the dual spec

Blue for veg, red and whites for bloom. Most people just turn it all on for bloom though with those Chinese blurple paper weights.

For the money its pretty good to me. For a small closet.. A bigger op obv you'd go with more premium led

Proof will be in the end product however, can't knock it until I try it

You could definitely use the veg mode until they get a little bigger. You might need to keep the light a little closer. I use QBs but it's the same idea, dimmed down to 50% works great for seedlings and early veg. I flip to full power after a few weeks once the plants have a couple sets of mature leaves. Overall it doesn't make much difference to the plants. You can start full power with the lights higher up and get the same results but it's only burning extra electricity, seedlings obviously aren't using up all that light.

Ive got no advice for you but illI be keeping an eye on your thread so please keep it coming with pics too . I am also looking to buy LEDs and have been going round in circles for about a week now but always seem to end up back at kingbo . I find myself getting put off buy the bad press Chinese manufacturers get but I've not yet read any bad reviews by someone who has actually bought one.
Good luck with your grow.
