There are also "Full spectrums" that say 2700k. was just being lazy and stating the 5000 lol.

there are several threads on this site in which people have used that exact same bulb and yielded 10oz of nice rock hard buds. they didnt switch back to hps. ima stick with my ideas, sorry for bothering you guys. http://advancedtechlighting.com/products.htm. u can call tech support and have an actual conversation with Tom Lordon, he runs that side of their business. real answers from a dude who has a $300,000 light spectrometer and ample time to do research on nothing more than GOOD lighting for people who need it.

He will tell you what you want to hear to sell you his product. Buy it. Let us know how it works. If you produce good yields, great. If not, well you will know better next time. And the people yielding the 10 ounces have perfect results because they do everything they can to there plants. Not just the light. And your set up may start problems with light leaks when you have both the veg and flower running at the same time. Which will kill your yields....so make sure its light proof in a way. One more thing, if you were already so set on using these, then why did you even start a thread asking about them. I mean you said it yourself that you did all the research...

people using aluma core ballasts shoot themselves in the foot. copper provides a better consistent power source, and its fairly easy to follow the youtube video and wire it yourself.

He also topped and scrogged his plant. Not saying the light may not have played a part in it. But he yields over 10 ounces a plant before he ever used the mh light. So saying that helped isnt proof......He got the same results as hps......and if you think one persons grow constitutes buying something, well good luck.....thats all i gotta say. Still wondering why you started this thread...

keep reading, you find out that within like 3 days of switching to HPS he switched BACK to CMH because HPS was BURNING HIS PLANTS. nute burn. you shouldnt realy switch from CMH to anything else halfway thru, as he found out the hard way.

i appreciate the info. guess theres a bunch of misinformation out there if anyone can use either bulbs for whatever... maybe they just dont have a green thumb, or its stuck up their ass. who knows.
