Vaposcience, Aromed are a scam

Just a warning to anyone who might be purchasing a vaporizer in the near future. You may have read about an aromed, a lot of people seem to like them. One thing you havent heard is that they arent able to ship to the US anymore and many companies, like Vaposcience, are still accepting payments for them. Vaposcience is on aromed.coms main page as the North American affiliate, but they did nothing more than take my money. All my calls have gone either to an answering machine for Vaposcience or someone claiming it was the wrong number, which was strange because I just hit redial. Any attempts to contact aromed have ended in returned mail. I can not speak with other retailers, but I think the safe bet would be to avoid the aromed all together. Vaposcience.com is a for sure scam though. I should have know by the crappy ass website.

just an update on this, after several days, several emails and several angry telephone calls, I finally managed to get my money returned from vaposcience. I dont think they are a downright scam, but they did take my overnight order, with an additional $20 for shipping, knowing full well that they had no vaporizers in stock. The President of Vaposcience said he was fully expecting them to arrive monday, but there was a problem customs and they did not arrive. I still fault them for selling an item they did not have in stock and overall poor customer service (5 days to get a return call from them), however I dont think they are an outright scam. I would still avoid buying from them in the future however.

Vaporizers as a whole a great. This person just had a bad experience with once company. You can buy volcanoes on ebay right now for around $339 + shipping. Those are brand new ones. Makes your smoke go further and easier on the lungs. But can't beat the instant gratification of a good old joint. :)

Hi inneedofbuds,

this is Ralf from research&experience, the producer of AroMed vaporizers. Thank you for informing us about the behaviour of vaposcience.com. As a small patient's initiative we are grateful and in need of this kind of information.
We apologize for any inconveniences customers had with ordering from vaposcience. They had been a reliable partner for some seven years, but since 1st of Oct. 2007 they are not!
The AroMed wholesaler for the North American market is AroMed Vaporizer 4.0 on Sale @ GOTVAPE.com, they retail as well and serve retail customers.
The AroMed vaporizer is certainly still available and thousands of customers love it. So please accept our apologies that we have not realized earlier what kind of tricks vaposcience was using! They promised twice already to take the URL off....
Thank you for understanding,

Ralf :peace:

has anyone any experience with this....I like the idea of portability, small, simple....? just curious...never used a vapo of any kind myself?:blsmoke:

I just ordered one of the aromeds from vaposcience that the guy must have been reselling on ebay. I got it for 360 instead of the normal 440, so sounds like a deal to me.

In theory the Aromed should be the best vaporizer to buy in America, (verdampfer takes the cake in Europe)

Ill give a review on it after i receive my shipment.

GotVape.com are liars.

They claim "1-5 day air shipping" when it's actually priority mail, which was sent by truck. They also claim the absolute lowest price, or they'll match it. I called them for a price match and they said "that vendor is selling it for less than the minimum allowed price so we won't match it."
