Vaporizor smell

I'm living in a situation where it is unacceptable to smoke at all. I would like to toke it up in my room and not get in trouble. Would a vape be a good solution to my problem? It is not, but very similar to, university housing. I have a window i can open and can get 12 feet from the door that leads to the common area. Would it be, from your experiences, ok to use a vape in there?

Vapes eliminate most of the smell becuase your not catching fire to the weed so it wont produce smoke just vapor but it all depends on the vaporizer. Which one would you be going with?

Thanks for the prompt reply... i haven't picked one out yet, i was planning to go to the head shop after the first of the year to do some looking around. Any recomendations in what to look for?

Depending on price range for the under 200 I would recomend a Dabudda.......same as the silver surfer and made by same company juts just not as fancy looking it is glass on glass hands free........3 year warrenty and even after that they can repair it completely for 35 bucks awesome
Next up is Silver surfer about 280 bucks but hell to save money get the dabudda it hits just as hard as the Surfer I think silver surfer is fine but its a kind of Brag what I have item its very customizable can even send em a JPG pic they will put it on the tube of the vparize and some how make it stick but anyways its pricey but damn nice.................100bucks Kia vaporizer is awesome but buy it on Ebay directly from the manufatuare......he slells it for 200 on his site but he tosses em up for bids starting at 110 bucks and most time you can get it for that its a liftime warrenty......its a preset temp about 360 so its a MILD hit but damn its nice hit.......thats my recomendation......

best vaporizer...non bag vaporizer...ive ever owned was from vapor brother! the originators....but vapor still smells like weed...really good weed! but its just not as heavy so gettin rid of it is easier...but if someone was to walk in as ur blowin out a hit they will kno! but if ur blowin out a window with a fan or somethin there is no question the vape is the way to go but remember it doesnt eliminate the smell at all! it still smells like weed and wen its beat burnt popcorn! lol

Damn pony... you gave me a complete buyers guide! I'll look into these models and see what the local guy has to offer (i prefer to buy local if possible) but that's awesome. If he dosent have anything i'll go online and scoop one of these. I appreciate the help.

U get more odor from grinding the dank shit up heheh than I do vap smell and I have a magic flight I take it with me to the VA hospital when I have to sit around for hours and have vaped in the bathroom and out at cig place outside and even had the cop walk by and didnt smell it....probley wind and all that but still be very discreet and you willl be ok in a dorm.....My son says its popular to vap in the dorms when he was at UT

Oh yeah vaping smells pretty dank but if this man needs to smoke! damn then he shall! vaping is the best option >.>

Ehhh I love vapes dont get me wrong and they do help, however..

I originally got one to conceal the smell and a couple months later the person i was trying to conceal from told me they had been smelling it for quite some time.

So like others before me said it greatlly reduces it and doesnt have that "smoke" smell but it still smells like weed while and for a little bit after.

Good luck man but be ready to be caught sometime. Statistically most kids do get caught at one point or another. Toke in the attic/outside if possible

OH and forget i had the HOT BOX vape and i loved it got it for $120 and its been great ended up selling it for $80 to a friends mom because it didnt conceal the smell perfectly and now i just toke in my attic.

A vape will cut down the odor a lot, and then just blow your hits through a toilet paper roll stuffed with dryer sheets with end covered a few times too and held in place w/ a rubber band. It will smell like your folding laundry or something lol. =)

Using a vaporizer will solve your problem. A long time ago I made a vaporizer from a lightbulb, the ones they use to smoke meth. If you make a good one with a perfect size and thickness it can actually work pretty good if you control the temp. Still, they are no where near as good as the real vaporizers.

Anyways, I would be toking out in the living room, with a candle instead of a lighter. Being careful not to burn the weed, I just kept taking hits. When I heard my parents door open I would just hide it in a nearby spot and no one ever said anything. The smell wasn't obvious at all, especially if you hold in the smooth vapor hit for a long time.

My roomate had a Volcano back when I was in a 4x4 appt. I could easily tell when he was smoking MJ becasue the smell would come into the common area. Just a heads up

Heat guns work great but to noisy for a dorm I would think but hey however you inhale is what works......

Bam. Was going to suggest just this before I came across Brownbearclan's post. Works very well to cover up any traces that the act of vaping might not have eliminated. A little bottle of cologne can help as a supplement to the bounce (dryer) sheets trick.

Definitely better than the typical means of burning the ganja.
