vape pen or cartridge problem?

HIGH ALL, I just recieved my new super silver haze cartridge and battery, now when i try to vape, im getting a hint of flavour on the back of my throat, but no vapor. could it be a duff cartridge or is it more likely the battery part, it wasn't the most expencive battery, but a battery i a battery, it has a 519 thread, so its not that its incompatable, so what do any of yu think, PEN or BATTERY?

LMAO I should have read the instructions first, its all good now, but has anyone ever had a duff cartridge? i can't see them going wrong, but just asking.
