vanilla kush clone question

So I have this vanilla kush clone and she is beautiful... But instead of growing normally in started new growth from the bottom node... It looks great and is growing fast just looks weird.... Kind of a u shape now... Should I top it?

Hey thanks for responding.... Definitely plan on cloning her she is a bomb ass strain... Just want todo it right you know.... The growth is looking lovely and the two side shoots are looking ready to flourish once I cut her... Just worried about the way she's growing... I'm using my phone and have plenty of pictures is there anyway to load them? Plus I have a ace of spades that's 4 weeks into flower as well

Clones can and usually do look a little twisted the first 3 weeks or a month.

Should you top it? I dunno. But you can top it and get results once it has a terminal shoot or two that expresses dominance (grows taller than the rest).

Really no reason to top it prior to that. Topping is to keep the canopy even and develop multiple growing tips. Your plant is probably still trying to sort itself out, hence the twisted growth.

Cool thanks for the info man... I'm working on trying to get these pics uploaded for you guys now... Just trying to figure out the best way to save this strain because I only have a clone.... Plus I want to see this little beast grow... It took her a month to show me new growth....

Pic #1 looks overwatered. Plant has very few leaves. Does not really need feeding as you seem to have got a tiny bit of burn, but this can also be symptom of overwatering.

Let it get bone dry between waterings, even to the point it droops. 4-6 days is good.

2nd plant looks weak for trying to flower. Probably overwatered as well..

And way more light if you can provide it.

Just my opinion.

Cool thanks man I just watered them this morning as far as the burn it was like that when I got it but look at the new growth... I have 500 watts worth of cfls and a 400 watt hps on the way

nice thanks for the info waterdog.... my question really is does the growth look healthy to eventually
clone.... all that new growth came in the last 2 days so shes going good..its such a bomb ass strain and I want to keep her going ya know.... when would you recommend me to clone her? it took 2 weeks just for that new growth to start... idont know if you can see it but where the new gowth started there is two new shoots ready to take over... so when I do clone I will get at least two new shoots... which I plan on main lining... its just tripping me out that instead of growing out the top its growng out the side and now it is a u shape.... with just two fan leaves on the side....also my ace of spades .... I like to sit her in front of the window from about 12 to 5 pm so she gets the good light from the sun... shes a clone as well and shes just one main shoot. Any guesses on harvest? Im a first time grower sorry for all the dumb ass questions haha... and what do you think about my Churches... I started from seed.. hope all three are female... please give me all the usefull info you guys have to help assist me on my journey... thanks

She looks a bit shocked TBO I would wait until she looks a bit healthier, dont be into much of a rush. I havent done indoor soil grows in a bit. So not much help sorry. As for the window I'm not sure that is a good thing either. Leaving it under the lights may be better. What spectrum are the CFL's? The 400 would be very beneficial IMO. Perhaps a soil guy could offer better advice.

What one looks shocked? I have a 400 watt hps on the way... I'm using 5 100 watt equivalent cfls right now... And when the sun is at its brightest shinning hard I put her on a chair in front of the window.... If the clone is shocked would it grow 3 1/2 inches in 2 days? I think it was shocked before but after transplanting her she's taking off... When I put that ace of spades in the window she really opens up man fan leaves pop straight up and all the pistols stick up too.... She's crystalizing nice now too... The cfl spectrum for flowering is soft white and for beg its a mixture of the two...

Don't look at those big ass fan leaves on the sides haha they have been through alot but focus your attention on the little bottom branch that's what's happen in the last two days... It just keeps getting bigger every couple hours I can see a difference...
