So me and my girl are moving down to Vancouver, BC soon and we were wondering if there were any good clubs down here we could be directed to or a page that will. I'm also wondering if having a bad case of scoliosis/back pain will get me an authentic note. I need to have some weed while my little grow is in the process out in BC.

In Canada all medical marijuana stuff is federal and its harder to get a card than it is in california and other states unless you have cancer and/or something else more severe. If your are from the US dont worry about growing cause the weed prices will probably be around half, if you still want to grow it will have to be undercover, now buying should be really easy so you dont need a card.

EDIT: actually i was watching a video with that chick that hangs around mark emery, think her name is michelle and she says BC has won key elections and stuff like that and she would help people get a card so if you have something you can go to her with then shed help, she lives in BC.

I think I know who you're talking about. Anyways, I'm hearing a lot of things like if you go down to West Hastings Street you'll be able to find a bunch of dealers. The only reason I plan to grow is so that I can make sure what I'm smoking and because it's a hobby. It'll only be small CFL grows though as I'm only looking to get a couple ounces off each plant.

You can find dealers all over, but its not legal. Your gonna have a really hard time getting a card for that condition. In canada anyway

old thread, but just so everybody knows it's painfully ** SIMPLE ** to get Medical Marijuana in Vancouver. You just need to go to any Trad Chinese Medicine Dr, a Naturopath, or your regular doctor and give them a form to fax into the Cannabis Dispensary or the Compassion Club(google it), and you'll be able to buy whatever kind of weed you want. If you're from out of town, simply fax in your US medical marijuana forms and you can buy the moment you cross the border.

Not to be a nay sayer but it hasn't been quite that easy for me. I suffer from chronic migraines and I'm currently on disability for it. My family doctor wouldn't refer me to the Compassion Club for legal reasons. A walk-in clinic wouldn't either. I wen't to a Dr. of Traditional Chinese Medicine today and he said he might - AFTER I try the course of acupuncture and it proves unsuccessful.:wall:

The Compassion Club won't give me the name of anyone who will refer me - so if you know any one who will without a hassle I would LOVE to hear it!

Hey I am in the same boat as you . Moved here a while ago from california and I can not find anyone to sign my form either. Went to a couple of Dr. of Traditional Chinese Medicine they all wanted me to do acupuncture too. Want me to do 10 treatments costing 500 dollars before they would think about signing it. Did not think it would be so hard to find a understanding doctor here.. So if you end up finding some one . let me know I would appreciate it.

I found a way in!!!

I had a letter of diagnosis from my neurologist for my employer (I'm on disability at the moment) and I was able to fax that in instead of a doctor referal! Hooray! Tomorrow I go and get my stash and then no more migraines for me!
