Van de Zwaan House & Garden Aqua Flakes.. Anyone Tried Em?

Sounds like your ruining a little spicy , Ive Run H&G Full Line for a year now 18 strains and have yet seen the need to go over 2.0 EC at any time ... Flush well, Floral Spray with Magic Green
I'm not sure what week you are in but 1100-1200ppm should keep them working hard . i use black strap Molasses every feed to help with extra sugar for energy and Magic green every other week in flower until week 6. i use R/O water so i give cal-mg as well.
Good Luck
I have been getting the same thing as the guy above around week 4 I use the h and g aqua flakes in soil less mix running in flower 1000 ppm to 1300 ppm with 5ml per gal of cal mag with ro water. I can't figure out what the hell I'm doing wrong I mix to the feed chart and know how to mix a and b properly. I can get this house and garden line to work perfect in hydroton in ebb and grow but can't figure it out in soiless mix

There is no need to go over 1000 PPm's ever. If your strain can take it then proceed with caution...Especially in a soil less mix cause it holds on to salts. I ran House and Garden's Cocos A&B in coco and never went over 1000 ppms with great results.

Yes i agree....I use H&G also and i just mixed a new batch up today at week 3 of flower and i finally decided to go up to FULL STRENGTH for wk 3. Im Running OG kush, Blue Dream, and Master Kush. When i was all done my PPM went up to 1060 and after the 1st feed it dropped to 1030. So like i said thats at full strength!!
But you have to subtract about 200 away from that because i am not using RO water...my tap is 200 ppm. so thats about 900 ppm of pure nutrients! After my next flush i may go back to 3/4 strength depending on how my plants react to full strength at wk 3 of flower.! But H&G kicks ass! Really premium nutrients! No Fluff just quality!!! Worth every penny!!! Ill def be running H&G for future grows until another line dominates the market! (In terms of quality of course)
Peace!

I run H&G Coco's in an ebb and flow coco set-up with Geo Pots. The stuff rocks. I do supplement with a little Cal-Mag (1/2 strength 5 ml / gal) just to be on the safe side and I also inoculate with Mykos and Azos (veg only) from Extreme Gardening. My plants look like space cabbage. I've never seen growth like this. They almost grow too fast. Sometimes the leaves twist a little in veg but they don't get chlorosis or necrosis so I'm assuming it's just a sign of a genetic trait from the variety of Kush I'm growing or a tad too much N. They don't seem to mind, growth is dramatically noticeable from one day to the next.

My Geo Pots look like they are coated in furry spaghetti from all of the roots sticking out. Root Excel and the Extreme gardening products are pretty much the junk for a healthy rhyzosphere. Everything is really green, lush and super duper healthy.

The only thing I will say bad about the line is that you have to be careful with the Algen Extract. It is very potent stuff. I only use it the first two to three weeks of veg @ 1ml per gal just to give the plants a big boost and shorten my veg time (3 weeks), then I cut it. My plants triple in size in 1 week, by week 2 the table is filled in and almost ready to flower. After week three my stems are bigger around than a mans finger and roots system is fully developed.

I pretty much just follow the feed chart. Every other res change I give some Hygrozyme. Organic molasses sometimes makes it into the mix as well. Prediluted in some warm water. I also skip the shooting powder and use Bloombastic. Shooting Powder is great, but I feel like I get better essential oil production from the Bloombastic and harder nugs.

Never had any serious issues of burning or deficiencies. The very tippy tips of fans get a little burnt, but that's just from pushing them with the nutes.
Ph seems to want to ride at 6.0 instead of 5.8 with dechlorinated but not R.O. water (small boy filter) I just PH it down every couple of days. I have them under 750 ppm of Co2 during veg and 1250 during flower.

I ran Advanced for 2 years. Cost wise H&G seems about the same if you run the basic AN line, if you use their master grower additives H&G wins. Ease of use is no contest, and quality of product is no contest, H&G all the way.

so im lookin to try some new nutes and see if there is something better than the nutes i have been using thus far..

i did some research and turns out this guy van de zwaan basically helped formulate canna nutes and biobizz before branching out and starting his own gig.FLo
FYI

Note:
“House & Garden, Humboldt Wholesale, and their representatives do not have and have never had any affiliation or collaborative history of any kind with CANNA or its representatives. To the contrary, CANNA and House and Garden are direct business competitors. We hope that this public statement clarifies any possible misunderstanding.”

I hear that! its all about what your ladies want, and that goes back to a little thing called listening haha or in this case watching and paying atention, look and reading your ladies so that you are able to know what they want just by glancing in there direction. thats when you know you might just have a nack for this thing called growing after all ;)

thats why i love running DWC, im able to monitor all aspects of my grow almost instantly, air temp, water temp, ph, ppm, fans on or off, air pumps running, plants look healthy. its all right there, most of the guess work is taken out of the equation.

now you monitor your ppms and how much they drop from day to day and that will tell you how much they are eating and if you should give them a 2nd weekly feeding at 1/4 strength just because its day 3 and theyve already gone through 650ppms, bitches are just beastin on them nutes haha. thats when you know you have a plant that can handle 12hundred- 15hundred- 18 hundred ppms or better, it all depends on size and health and hunger of that particular plant and its relative genetics. thats why its awesome when your able to find a strain you like and clone it and have an endless supply of mothers and little babies to carry on the legacy of that fine ass sticky green.

I have used canna and house and garden, and have to say HnG owns, canna even tell people to use the HnG root accelerator themselves,I personally use the bio 1 part component and their multizyme and root exc, plus top booster and bud xl,along side super thrive, I also have mates that use the Hydro stuff from HnG so that is hydro A,and B,and then the same other stuff as me, and even when he forgets to flush it,it still tastes fine, where as I have mates that use advanced on the same clones and it tastes foul even after a 3 week flush,.
Really can't knock HnG specially when instead of using 2-2.5 ml of every thing you are only using 1ml per litre as its super concentrated, also I trust some one that runs a nursery and had a need for top products, more than I trust a "nutrient company" that cares only for profits,

Heres my latest lady, she gets fed once a week, and maybe watered with ph corrected water with root accelerator and multizyme once a week too if needed.
