Vaccinated stay contagious longer than Unvaccinated

Rabies? You mean the rarest disease ever, that maybe affects like 2 people a year? I don't really have many pets, other than the wild raccoons running around. If I seen one foaming at the mouth would just put it out of its misery, lol. There is no cure for rabies anyway, just like HIV, so whats the mrna gonna do?
Clearly you did no research, there are about 5000 reported cases of animal rabies in the US each year (who knows how many go undetected). About 90% are in wild animals, the rest in domestic pets, only a couple humans, that's true, but thousands are treated for potential rabies exposure each year. The reason there are few human cases is because most people are smart enough to vaccinate their animals so the jump from wild animals to humans is greatly lessened. In addition, there is a treatment for rabies IF you get it promptly after being bitten or scratched by a rabid or suspected rabid animal, it called PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis), which consists of a dose of gamma globulin and 4 doses of the RABIES VACCINE over a 14 day period. There are also thousands of people who work in high risk jobs that get the rabies the vaccine routinely. Anyone who goes into bat caves should be vaccinated, as well as people such as animal control personnel, and wildlife officers, who work with certain wild animals. The four main carriers of rabies are bats, raccoons, skunks, and foxes.

We have yearly free rabies clinics. They also aerial drop baits in area’s where it’s detected.

Remember when you'd be called a qanon conspiracy theorist, and banned from social media, for even suggesting the possibility that covid came from a lab leak? Welp..

I was watching a breakdown of that article on PBS last night. Out of the 9 agencies that weighed in on that the two that are not science based said it came from a lab. 5 that are science based said natural from the wet market most likely and two others said Don't Know.

But of course the deniers jump on the two that have no qualifications but say what they want to hear as some sort of definitive proof of their bias.

The article is pretty clear that this is a revised assessment by the DOE, based on new intelligence (a classified intelligence report recently provided to the White House and key members of Congress). Scientific opinion may not be relevant, depending on the nature of this classified information.

The “real” ones would never admit the polio vax kickstarted the cancer epidemic either.

You know who the real deniers are though.. They are folks like Peter Daszak, who tried to pretend that he didn't have deep conflicts of interest when he and his buddies tried to throw shade at the lab leak theory as being a conspiracy theory. Dang dishonest scientists are the worst.

So many people of all stripes think nothing of getting sometimes a whole bunch of vaccines so they can travel to areas of the world that they can't go without the proper protection.

But Covid is the hill they choose to die on.

Like people marching for tRump there's just no way anyone can get thru the misinformation bubble they walk around in.

Have fun, stay safe and I'm just hoping it all works out for the best but I'm out. Time to hit the unwatch button.
