Vaccinated stay contagious longer than Unvaccinated

This recent study in the Lancet is quite interesting:

Especially this table, which shows negative vaccine efficacy and confidence intervals, which effectively means that the vaccine is causing more people to get covid vs the control group:

All ya'll who are trying to pose folks who are vax hesitant as science deniers, haven't seemed to be able to debunk the science I posted above which basically shows that the injections are causing AED, but I'm guessing that you think that AED is a crazy conspiracy theory too. It ain't.

Your argument is basically it is better to get sick than vaccinated, whatever.

At least that is a scientifically sound argument and much better than the rebuttal.
Your argument is basically vax your kids against the sniffles.

With emergency Trump juice.
for sheer compactness of multiple falsehood, you are the reigning champ.

If I had to do it over again and get Covid, I would. (I've had it twice anyways, wasn't that bad)... I've seen too many adverse events.
Anecdote ain’t statistics.

When dealing with a vaccine that does not confer immunity, I fail to see why

"It's better to get sick than vaccinated"

Isn't accurate and firmly rooted in science.

Yet every media outlet and Fauci saying the vaccine did confer immunity and then Pfizer admitting they did no testing in that regard is solid science and if you disagree then you're flat earth lizard people Reeeeeeeee

But you’re dealing with the Pfizer/Moderna vaccine, which has been proven to confer a big immune advantage.

It's been 2 years and several boosts, nobody has grown a set of horns, everybody has some immunity now, either by vaccination or by illness. Hundreds of unvaxxed American children have died of covid, it wasn't sniffles for them. Well over a million Americans died and 3 times that are fucked for life, a higher rate than anywhere else for some strange reason.

Exactly, delivered right to your heart, brain and blood vessels as we now well know.

Right? I knew two people that died of Covid, the disease made one wreck his bike on the way home from drinking and the other get electrocuted at work for some strange reason.

If the vaccine causes folks to be more likely to get sick as the vaccine wanes, in comparison to a control group, what is your takeaway?
My takeaway is the same one as all the experts, the scientific consensus and that shifts in accordance with the available evidence and its quality. That consensus is vaccines work and provide some immunity for a fast-evolving virus, many of those vaxxed were subsequently mildly infected by new variants which are also hundreds of times more contagious than the original strain. This also builds cross immunity, but without incurring the risk of damage a covid infection would have in the unvaxxed.

I knew 2 old veterans that caught covid and died .....but it must have been their old war wounds that killed them. They served their purpose so f*ck them right?
Hell no. We should all roll up our sleeves and our kids sleeves and be forced to take the Unconstitutional jab to honor these heroes that served and fought with their lives to defend our Constitution.

Hundreds of times more contagious is hundreds of times less deadly though because experts and stuff.

You don't seem to understand what a negative vaccine efficacy is. That means that people are more likely to get sick who have taken the vaccine vs a control group. This study shows that effect following the period of vaccine waning after a few months. It sounds to me like you are suggesting that people get jabbed four times a year to keep their VE up.

In the short term perhaps, however in the long term it's the opposite, as the study which I posted confirms.
Two dissents.
1) a single study in a smallish population

2) no metric of severity. The pro-vax crowd to which I belong keeps pointing out that number of infections is a less-interesting metric than number of severe or persistent infections. I see no treatment of those days in the table you posted (I am assuming that is to what you are referring). I have seen no contradictions of the apparent fact that vaccination sharply reduces incidence of severe occurrences.

The last time I checked yer free to be an antivaxxer nut job, in Canada we have a 90% vaxx rate, so they are definitely in the minority and mostly among young adults. Now that those who want it are vaxxed and boosted and we have meds, nobody really gives a fuck about the unvaccinated, except they tend to clog up the hospitals. The vaccines will get better, but the virus could go either way, more contagious wins the race, whether it kills you or not doesn't matter.

Over 100,000 isn't that small.

Regarding severity, that was addressed to some extent:

"We also planned to study VE against severe COVID-19 outcomes. However, we were concerned that CYP hospitalisations during the period of study might have been predominantly “with” COVID-19, rather than “because of” COVID-19, leading to a potential for misclassification bias. "
