many people use pump, chamber and heatsource methods. itmay not be the absolute best but its a hell of a lot cheaper than 2-10 grand... especially if its his first.
Iv made this argument more than once, Some people are just stupid bro...it's like the fool who goes to Starbucks everyday when a expresso Machine" with a frother will produce the same shit if not better since you can use better beans then that Starbucks shytso if a chamber is at a maintained set temp and is operated at a set vac level then how are you not going to remove everything? a vac oven does exactly that. set temp and vac. the limitation of using a chamber comes from its small size. it limits how much oil you can purge at a single time vs. the vac oven having a much larger area for the oil to spread out to speed up the purge time of larger runs. if you can maintain temp and vac then the performance is the same
umm no the vac is not stronger on a vac oven. you choose your pump based on what you need it to do. so as long as you are able to hit the correct numbers then its the same process. and there are IF's in everything. if you don't do any extract right it will end up bad. maybe not rosin as I have yet to make any of it but you do understand what I am trying to tell you right?
edit
they also make pumps with muffler attachments to make it quieter
. I am in CO, teach me how to dougie twitch your pics look great. That is sound advice, as that law did scare away a lot of folks.I have used the 3cfm on my oven 1.9 it just takes longer to reach max vac I have the 7cfm now, as long as the chamber seals properly. A better question is how often are you going to use it, and what quantities? you can find .9 across internationals on CL for under 800 since the ban on hydrocarbon extracts for unlicensed people in CO not sure what state you are in.
and those muffler things do help alot
I designed the original Mk III, and helped set up Specialized Formulations and others like Terpp Extractor's to produce and market them, though I've never marketed them myself. This one appears to be a Terpp Extractors unit, so should be sound. A whole lot depends on the details of what else he has included.
A vacuum oven requires a vacuum pump.I'm not sure if I understand you correct. Do I need two pumps, one fore the MKIII and another one for the vacc oven / chamber?
