UVA UVB meters

Solarmeter is the one I see most which when it comes to UV bulbs for growers isnt much. Agromax has one in a vid they show on you tube but its kind of quick and doesnt show any other info like distance measured etc. Do any members here actually have one ? They are kind of pricey but I see on youtube there seems to be one thats actually comparable for about half the price. Granted its UVB only but still thats more important part of the UV spectrum for growers. Im seriously considering buying one. Maybe. Possibly.

Just be careful when you start playing with UV. It fucks your eyes real quick.
You will feel a sensation like you got sand in your eyes. I made an LED UV panel for exposing photosensitive etchings on PCBs.

And less pests.

I have used Reptisun 10 bulbs in sunblaster fixtures last few grows and always try to be mindful of them when they are on. So the Reptisun bulbs have about 3 months total runtime on them. And the only real world vid with measurements is of the Agromax Pure UV completely took the output levels to another level.
I don’t have enough posts to add a link but search YouTube for Agromax and you shouldn’t have trouble finding it.

And reading all I can find everywhere the recommendation is to run that in either a on/off cycles or just an hour or so mid day.

I bought an Apogee Quantum meter a couple years back and took readings with my Timber kit and put it on eBay and got over 75% back on purchase price.
Pretty sure I’m talking myself into buying the knockoff version of the UVB meter. Maybe.
