Using UNseal and sealed lights in the same room.....

Hello fellow RIUers. I have an idea to keep my grow room temps in check and I wanted to run it by you all. Currently I have 3 1000w set up in a 11x22 space.(1st run and will be adding more lights later). I live in Colorado and up until a few weeks ago cold temps werent an issue so i was venting my three lights outside. However the snow has come and it has became hard to keep temps up in the room. So i decided to take one of my glasses to my reflector off and it has helped. I have access to some open parabolic reflectors and was thinking about adding two to my setup. I should have mentioned earlier i have environment controller that turns on when temps hit 80+ bringing in outside(cold) air and exhausting through one of my reflectors to the outside(about to start venting it into my house). ATM i use a 6inch for intake and a 8inch for exhuast however i have another 8inch if i need it. So my question is will this work? 2 open reflectors with 3 sealed. I would continue to intake from outside and use one 8inch for the lights and one for the room. LMK what you folks think. PEACE and HAPPY GROWING!

The problem I see is this..

Cool and the gang when the lights are on. Kudos for the controller. .... buuut.

When the lights go off, it will be colder outside then inside. Physics tells us that heat will always migrate towards cooler temperatures so, when the lights go off the hood with no glass will slowly suck cold air from the outside until such time that the temperature inside is near equal to the outside.

If I were you, leave it sealed, out mote lights up sure.. run a large dehu at night to keep it warm at night.

Ohh, I thought you were going to simply take the glass out of one of the hoods in your sealed run.

Don't you have condensation problems on your duct?
