Using straight sugar in flower (dwc tubs)

When making sweet tea, you boil the water until the sugar dissolves. So how about boiling 2 cups of sugar into a pan of water, letting it cool, then adding it to the hydro tub? (Per 10 gallon tub, actually holding maybe 7 gallons).

I think molasses, coconut water, big bud, and bud candy are all trying to get sugar to the buds, but maybe I'm wrong. I haven't been able to find large quantities of coconut water for sale, and molasses will gum up air stones. I'd like to know what you think.

I agree, NEVER use straight sugar. i recommend useing blackstrap molasses (quantity varies on your res) and keeping a close eye on your PH levels and also make sure to regularly clean and purifiy your res and plumbing, as usualy. I`ve used blackstrap molasses with my DWC systems in the past with no problems. To see the proper way to clean your system i would check out the article here.

Thanks I'll check out the article. Well if you didn't have any problems, I'll try it. Air stones are cheap and I have some extras in case it stops bubbling.
